Quick summary: Our master bath has white/light gray textured floor tiles that attract dirt relentlessly even though we don’t wear street shoes in the bathroom. Before this mop, I would wash the floor on my hands and knees to get it clean. With this scrubbing mop head, I get my floor clean in less than 10 minutes and save my body from aches.The details:I have no idea what the builder was thinking when he put rough textured white floor tiles in the master bath. They are very difficult to clean, and that’s after I’ve put a sealer on them to protect them from getting too grimy. Because of the rough texture, I’ve gone through so many different mop heads and buckets. Any kind of stringy mop head just gets caught up in itself and gets stuck on the tiles. I used to use the O Cedar mop bucket system but it just wasn’t effective. Rubbermaid used to make an effective commercial grade rough surface mop head for the traditional mop bucket on wheels, but they discontinued that. I resorted to getting on my hands and knees with a smooth microfiber cloth, and that would even get caught on the tiles.Now I think I have found my answer in this mop head. The cleaning solution dispenser targets to a specific area. This is a miracle, because I’m able to get into those high traffic areas and scrub multiple times without saturating the floor and spreading dirty cleaning solution all over the rest of the floor. My tiles are so clean and I’m not breaking my back or knees in the process.

Works but thin and constantly needs cleaning so I don’t expect it to last long

I have both wood and sandstone floors. Over the years I have tried and failed with many mops. My rough sandstone floors would chew up every mop or rag or towel I tried. This is the thing I've been looking for. It scrubs my stone floors without showing any wear which is amazing! It works great on my wood floors too.Forget the wet jet! I just fill a quart size bottle with a squirt of dish soap, half a bottle of white vinegar and half hot water. I pour some of the solution right onto the floor as needed and mop away. There are scrubbing fibers built into the pad so the dirt comes up easily. No rinsing. I just throw the mop pad into the washing machine. I mop more often now because it's so easy. I can do my whole 300 sq. ft. kitchen with one pad. I'm in love with the whole Hygen mop system!

It seems to be made in durable materials and is well put together. I'm using it for my home, with a farm boy husband (living in the suburbs), but he loves working in the yard and vegetable garden. Between his dragging dirt in (I can't seem to train him to take his shoes off) and out 3 dogs doing the same and dropping dog hair all over, it is doing a great job for me and is easy to use, sturdy and I can just throw the pad in the wash!

Work great!!!! Works great in stubborn floors aka dirty ones!!! Like kitchen floors or rough textured floors that need cleaning.

This is the best pad for ceramic tile and stone. Use the softer FGQ41000BL00 or equivalent for wood and laminate. I use this with mop frame FGQ56000YL00 and the FGQ75500YL00 handle, which is probably the most common setup.

They do a great job of cleaning up floors! My only complaint is that Rubbermaid doesn't make them in White... You would assume they would so that you'll be able to notice how dirty they're much easier. Maybe it's something for Rubbermaid to consider in the near future... But great mop pads non the less!
