Works like magic or just as good as OEM! Can't tell the difference, Simple Plug and Play tested remote with my Sony and it works fine! All the buttons works just put in new batteries no need to pair remote with your TV! Just point and click that's it!! No issues!!

Was a good replacement for the original. The only complaint is that it arrived in an envelope and there were some buttons that were pressed in. I was able to get them to pop back out. AMAZON or Seller should do a better job of packaging for shipment.

I recently purchased this Sony RM-YD092 remote on Amazon to replace the identical remote supplied with my 2013 Sony Bravia LCD TV model KDL-40R450A but when it arrived it didn't work. My old unit still worked so I tried changing the batteries, cleaning the contacts, etc. all to no avail. So, I returned the unit to Amazon and ordered the identical unit again from you. Again, it didn't work and I phoned Sony for advice. The Sony tech suggested removing the batteries, punching every button on the remote, and then holding down the power button for 10 seconds. Still no luck. The tech said my TV is not programmable and the remote doesn't need to be paired and should work right out of the box. this product is advertised as a "Sony RM-YD092 (1-492-065-11) Factory Original Replacement Smart TV Remote Control for All LCD LED 3D and Bravia TV's" but doesn't work on my Sony TV. It isn't advertised as refurbished but this is twice I've ordered this product and it just doesn't work. I've just ordered this remote for the third time and I'm hoping that this one will work, because my original is showing signs of failure. If the third unit doesn't work I will return it and consult Sony directly for a replacement. Sometimes Chinese junk is not a boat.:)

I have a Sony 2012 KDL55HX729. Since purchasing it, I've kinda moved over to Apple TV/apps, wifi surround sound, and recently cut my cord with insane xFinity who controls my condo complex. I also have a dog who likes to chew on things, especially if they have remnants of bbq sauce on them. Point being, my sony remote from my equally old (since ditched) Blu-Ray player was what I had been using to control my TV. I just switched to slingTV who sent me (for free) a digital antenna to grab local channels they dont carry ... and this remote worked like a charm. It was super easy to get to the main menu - which I could not do before - to scan for available local channels. Yes, many qvc style and gospel stuff, but also will now be able to watch the Super Bowl, and limit my data usage via appletv (xfinity even limits that to 1TB!!) ... It also makes controlling sound and visual aspects of the tv easy, and can now switch inputs like a charm from Apple TV, to xbox to my antenna. Totally worth the money and works with a whole lot more Sony Bravias than currently listed.
