my sun has sun spots on his arms and it is embarrassing for him but they fall apart in the washing machine I had to wash by hand

I looked at lots of similar sleeves and thought I had ruled out the ones without thumbholes, because I mainly wanted sleeves to cover the backs of my hands while driving.So I was surprised when I got these and realized there are no thumb openings. I went back to the listing and realized I must’ve thought that based on pictures and thinking I’d already gone through the thumbless ones.The very first image has one sleeve on top of another, folded over. I interpreted that as a thumb sticking out — it’s obvious now that it isn’t but it’s what I wanted to see. Also there are some pics where people have the sleeves pulled way up to their knuckles, which is impossible without constricting your thumb (I tried it), which I feel is a bit misleading. OTOH there are pics where you can clearly see the elastic ends in a normal cuff, so I just missed it.The sleeves seem comfy, though I haven’t really worn them, just pulled on briefly. I’m tempted to cut a hole for my thumb but I can’t sew and wouldn’t know how to reinforce it.I haven’t decided yet whether I’ll keep them. They won’t work for my intended purpose, but I could use them as arm protection for something where i’m already wearing gloves, like biking, gardening, outdoor home stuff. Will decide after I order & try a different brand that does have thumbholes.

Used these to cover up tattoos for the hospital. Very comfortable and doesn’t get too hot. Washes just fine in hot and cold water. I’ve had it for a couple month and they aren’t showing signs of tearing down. The only complaint is dark tattoos peek through on the white sleeve.

Gardening in Hawaii's afternoon sun has been hot (my daughter's nap time) and I needed a way to keep my arms cool. Looked for the cheapest pair of UV sleeves with decent reviews and came across these.The good news - the white and brown ones do keep my arms cool! I love wearing these and will be buying another set when they wear out. Was surprised they're made in Korea and they come in neat plastic packaging; useless, but appreciate good packaging.Downsides - they're tight. I'm 130lbs and they're tight from the elbows up, but have stretched out a bit. They also show wear quickly as I've brushed up against bushes and trees.Updated (10 months): I've been wearing these weekly while gardening, working on the house, and trimming trees. They've held up well - no rips, minor stains on the white and grey versions. They do seem to be warmer / lost their ability to wick moisture over time. I've thrown away the black ones, they've been too hot in Hawaii's weather. I'll be purchasing another set when and if they wear out!

These are light and easy to put on like socks. Feel cool once you start perspiring. clean up reasonable well in the wash. could just rinse out in sink and hang up to dry. Have not had an opportunity to use these in the car. Without question would use for long rides in the car. You need to be mindful that when you pull these on that one size fits all. Shorter arms will have a roll on the upper arm. If you are patient you can pull them down like you would with socks so you have a smooth cuff.

I was concerned about getting skin rashes which I usually do when wearing knee braces. I wore the gray ones for tennis for 3 hours and didn't feel any tightness. The cooling effect was there and UV protection definitely is there because the skin in my arms didn't feel hot at all compared to my lower legs. I tested the white vs the black on each arm for 10 minutes under the sun, and I was surprised the arm with the black one still felt cool, but the white one did feel a bit cooler.

Tight fit. Didn’t get crusty like the tube socks I used before. I was in the heat and they help with cooling. Good buy

Soy jugador de golf, y paso bastantes horas al sol. Ademas tengo un problema por el cual tengo que cuidarme mucho del sol . Y estas mangas junto con una buena visera, camisetas de proteccion uv y unas buenas gafas me permiten estar protegido ademas de fresco ! Es increible, los brazos los noto frios en comparacion con el resto gracias a que protegen perfectamente del sol.

Zuerst dachte ich die wären doch viel zu klein. Doch probierte ich den ersten an und erkannte schnell wie dehnbar und auch sehr lang sind. Diese Teile sind vom Material aber nicht nur Dehnbar, sondern auch weich und angenehm auf der Haut.

Product is alright for the asking price, but I would have paid more for a larger size (I got big upper arm around 15”). Bought this together with other similar product, much happier with the quality of the other product.
