Playing games
Sam has followed a YouTuber called Blaze for years, with his commentary on the games that he plays. Luke is a shy nerd who's alter ego is Blaze, outgoing where he is introverted and full of confidence. They end up paired together in a tournament with pro players playing with an amateur and Sam doesn't believe her luck. Little do they know that they actually work in the same office complex and have already met.I play games at a low level, but do not follow anyone on YouTube, but understand the concept. Sam's just started a new business making accessories for handbags, something that I know nothing about apart that my wife seems to have loads of these. Despite this I found that I really enjoyed this story, I could understand and sympathise with both of them and was rooting for them as the tournament went on. So for me this was a fun story, with some thoughtful moments in it, that I read in a day. Recommended for those who want something different.I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book and I subsequently purchased it on release.

Light romance
Enjoyed the unfolding story between the two characters and how in the end the only person you can be is yourself and in doing so you must be true to yourself. Found it easy to read a good book for the beach.

Great idea for the next cute romance on Netflix
I loved the cute love story taking place in the actual and virtual reality at the same time. The jumps from the real life of Luke and Sam to the gaming reality of Blaze and Bravura were a welcoming change in the course of the story. I also liked that the perspectives alternated between the two main characters. I kind of could find myself in the character of Sam, who is a grown woman trying to establish herself with an own business while in private still somehow behave like a teenage girl daydreaming about a celebrity. This type of story could definitely appear as a cute romance on Netflix for a nice and cozy girls night in.

Romcom perfection
Loved it! The characters are genuine and lovely and the mistaken identity elements are hilariously done and full of romantic tension without the usual pitfalls of mistaken identity. A fabulous read that I devoured.

Fabulous!
I've loved everything by Jeevani Charika so far and pre-ordered this one as soon as I heard about it. I'm totally ignorant about gaming but Jeevani made it clear what was going on and she writes so well I was invested in both the main characters in no time. I adored this and wanted it to be longer! Can't wait for her next book now!

A fun romance with an unusual setting
I know nothing about online gaming, which is one of the main settings of the book, but that didnât matter at all. It was a complete page-turner which was funny and also had me in tears a few times.

An absolutely heart-shaped bubble of JOY.
I thought this book was a sheer delight from start to finish. It has all of the delicious ingredients that make a romcom sweep you away into the protagonists' world and makes you PRAY that Netflix turn it into a film. If you want an injection of sunshine into your life, buy this book.
