A nice kit to store in your car
One of the first things I noticed about this kit is the case it comes in. It’s a Pelican-style case that latches closed with four snaps on three sides of the case. It appears that the closures would make it water/air-tight, but I haven’t submerged it yet to see if that is indeed the case. Inside are the tools for survival including a compass/bracelet, flashlight, compass/thermometer/caribeaner, fire starter kit, tactical pen, whistle, tactical knife, saber card, and saber card knife.I was instantly impressed not only with how many items were stuffed into this kit but also with the quality of each product. The compass/bracelet is made with what appears to be a parachute cord and was actually quite comfortable. One of the things I appreciate about this particular product is that there are several tools incorporated into the bracelet. The compass is one thing, but it also has a whistle, a scrapper, and a fire starter. So, if you were in the practice of wearing this bracelet and didn’t have the other tools from the survival kit handy, you would have a decent amount of options right on your wrist. The flashlight serves as a standard light, but can also send off an SOS signal. The flashlight is battery operated but did not come with one. I would love to not only see a rechargeable battery be installed into the flashlight, but it would actually be nice to see the flashlight itself be rechargeable.I also really like that there are two actual fire starters in this kit — the full size one and the other hidden in the bracelet. The tactical knife is perfect for this type of kit because it’s very thin. It locks into place once it has been folded out. There is an easy release lever on the back. The knife also has a clip for attaching it to a belt or strap. The two saber tools — the card knife and the card — are incredibly helpful, too because they both contain many tools in one.All the tools in the kit all seem to be built with very high quality and all of them put together results in a very complete survival kit. I think it would be a fun gift for the weekend warriors who enjoy camping in the wilderness. I’m not sure how it would measure up to the premium, top of the line survival kits out there.

Good Starter Kit/Man Gift
The knife is small but it had to fit with all the cool stuff, overall every little tool counts and having a compact container that seems to be semi waterproof maybe if you added your own rubber lining with some super glue! It even has a good cushion material inside. Durability wise I'm sure if I threw it far enough or really tried the thing would just come apart but I planned to have it in my bug out bag. Most of it gets taken out anyways to make more room so that was a plus for me. The compass is small and can attach to most backpacks with ease. The flashlight is bright and adjustable which is nice for low profile. The mini card tool is a awesome compact way to have a good assortment of tools that could come in handy on the go I just put that in my own wallet. The mini saw blade is clever cause the plastic serves as the handle, can't see myself doing much damage with it maybe to de-scale a fish. Have yet to test the firestarter kinda have it as a back up but considering you have to scrape the coating off to prime and it comes in a ziplock, I figure it's gonna do the job. The tactical pen is my favorite very sturdy, totally breaks glass if you hit it right, this pen is a great incognito way for self defense! The whistle is cool and can be latched to a zipper for quick use. Overall you get a lot of bang for your buck in this bundle and it doesn't come with a worthless stuff like other kits so you can't beat the deal.

Fantastic Kit.
All the items are much higher quality then I thought. Ive dropped the flashlight at work probably a dozen times and not a scratch. Compass and Temp I keep on my keychain and both work great. Pen works great as well and looks pretty sharp as well. I keep the rest of the items in the case and keep it stored in my truck. Would recommend this kit for anyone even more so for its price.

Something That Could Save Your Life For Under $30 Is Always A Deal!
The media could not be loaded. I was amazed at how much they managed to put into this small container, the video and pictures attached can show you most of it along with the product page but I could not really think of much else I would need in a kit I could almost carry in my pocket (see pix with $5 bill).Mine will be placed into my console of my car since that is the most likely place I would need it (it also has a window breaker pen in it) and it fits easily. The fact that they put it in a reusable zip lock bag makes it even more functional since I don't have to worry about moisture from condensation/humidity in these hot summers.Bottom Line: This is something you can put in your car and forget about until you need it but the fact is that for less than $30 you can buy something that very well may save your life one day when you need it the most. A steal at any price ... 5 Stars

Good not great kit
Nice little kit for under my truck console. Everything works but the flash light. I tried three different batteries with no luck. I did get a flash of light once then nothing. Really like the saber card knife and fire starter kit. Would have been a 5 star but for the non functioning flash light.

very impressed
I figured for the price it might be a bit cheesy and flimsy. but this is a nice set. I bought it as a gift and it's impressive. it comes in a velvet bag for starters and the case is really nice. Heavy plastic with a nice foot locker look. I can see that it can take a good toss around. The items inside are sturdy and very nice. I really like it. Confession: it took me a minute to figure out how to open it. But I'm a dork. Non dorks will probably figure out much quicker without breaking a nail.

This was a gift for my best friend because she travels on the highways and works ...
I am in the military and I have most everything that’s in this kit already. But I want some of my friends to have the same survival stuff if and when they need it.This was a gift for my best friend because she travels on the highways and works for one of the local construction companies.I wanted her always be prepared for anything. So I brought another one for my other friend also.Thank you for making a kit that is easy and having everything that is needed.Just one thing can you make the instructions alittle bit easier to read..
