Eden Early Start Pre Plant Organic Enriched Fertilizer (5 lb Bucket)-Neem Plant Food 3-5-3 Enriched Formula - Increases Soil Natural Activity

The product arrived quickly and was well protected in transit. This is a 5 pound bucket of organic fertilizer. It is granulated. We are improving the soil of our raised beds and used this product to distribute in water into the soil prior to planting. The product is very easy to use and the directions for use are easy to follow. Although there is a slight organic smell to the fertilizer it is not overpowering. Once it was in the ground and watered you can no longer really smell it. We applied the fertilizer to our radishes. So far the radishes have been very productive.

The only reason I have given this 4 stars is because this is my first time using this so I really won’t know how well it works until next year after using it for a while. If it t does well, I will buy again. Package was delivered without incident and when expected.

This organic fertilizer is easy to use. It comes in a gravel-like form that is easy to scatter around the base of the plants. I have sandy soil that I am always trying to improve with compost, so I think this product, which contains neem, will be a good addition. It is slow-release and is best used in spring and fall. I have a lot of new plants I am putting in, and this should help with strong root formation.

I am trying Eden early start for the first time this year, and to be honest, can not tell the difference between plants fed with Eden Organic, Miracle grow organic and Ortho. We have awful clay soil and though I always amend with compost and mulch, they do much better when I add fertilizer. I have been using Miracle grow organic and Ortho time release for years one in the beds and the other in planters). This year I used the Eden Organic in 2 of my raised beds and can not say that it is any better than what I have been using. It is easy enough to apply but also, in all honesty, the others are easier since the both come in containers I can sprinkle from direc5tly. It does not take a whole lot of time to scoop some of the Eden, but it is more of a challenge to get the correct amount. If, as time goes by, the plants in the beds iwth the Eden do better, then I will revise my rating. For now it does not appear any better than other fertilizers I use.

Large granules. Easy to apply to new beds. Seems to promote good growth. Ample amount in the bucket. We have a 650 sq ft garden and use this with every new bed we create. No complaints or regrets.
