Great if you have a handgun with a scope.
Got this as a universal holder but was pleasantly surprised as to how well it holds my Ruger Mark II with a scope. Fits a 1911 or Hi Power and many more. Even holds my little Shield EZ. It's 6 slots, wide so plenty of capacity. I was skeptical but it is easy to assemble.

Great bang for the buck
read reviews before purchase, can't say anything negative. well made, sturdy, easy to assemble. All parts fit well. 1 review said the holes were larger than needed to be in the uprights (not the ends). which they are. but it makes no difference when assembled. just a bit of alignment before tightening and good to go. Fit 6 pistols all with under barrel lasers, all ftr great, my 1911is the only one where barrel overhung about 1 1/2", Berretta all others just fine In fact even my Byrna with extension and laser fit with room to spare. 6 pistols loaded 12lbs, picked up by handles no problem, no sagging, no twisting guns stayed in place. Just ordered another. You can actually leave out any number of uprights if you don't have 6 pistols and use the space for mags or boxed rounds. really adaptable. very nice solid foam,

Pros and cons, but similar enough to the competition and priced cheaper
Pros: cheapest of the foam style holders, with sturdy polymer dividersCons: Design is meh. This isn't bad, but there are definite areas of improvement.Firstly, the rod/nut design is horribly done. The rods that run through the holder are threaded longer than the nuts. This is a problem because if you bottom out one side putting it together, thinking that's where it needs to be, and then assemble it, you'll find the other side's nuts can't thread on, and you'll have to disassemble it and start over. Also because the threads are longer, you can keep tightening to the point of squishing the foam. It really needs to be just long enough for the nut to seat plus a smidge beyond the overall thickness to snug it up.Secondly, the outer plastic walls have a large diameter hole for the nuts to countersink. For no reason but lazy design, the center walls are also cut with this same size hole, when only the rod needs to pass through it. This means the inner walls can move up, down, in, and out, and you can end up with a lopsided build. However this is easily remedied by pushing down on the tops of the walls onto a flat surface on each edge to align them, and ensuring the nuts are tightened.Thirdly, the foam design is for the gun to sit on the edge of the foam and rest the end of the slide on the elevated portion. This means it won't work with flush-mag subcompact guns. Also the end of the foam is the same edge as the end of the plastic, which means if your guns are longer than the foam dimensions, you can't push the gun holder fully back to the wall. It needs to have a space for your barrel/slide to hang over. I used mine for my collection of S&W Model 59s Gen 1 through 3 (6" slide length), so fortunately its a clean fit. Also tested with a 4.25" 1911 (sits on edge of foam), Glock 19 (sits within the holder) and a 17 (sits on edge of foam), a Beretta 84BB (sits within the holder), and a S&W Shield Plus with pinky extension (without the extension it wouldn't work).Lastly, unless you are using this for airsoft pistols, the handles are useless. The combined weight of even six polymer handguns makes this not very sturdy to lift with the guns in it.So, does the design lack in many areas? Yes. Does the competition have the same problems? Possibly. So would I rather buy this one for cheaper, than the competition? Yes, actually I'm going to buy a few more.

Does its job
It's plastic and foam, but it works and looks great in my safe. For the price, an excellent product!

Decent, cheap handgun stand
I rated this one significantly lower than the 8 handgun stand. If you have room to fit that in your safe or wherever you stand your guns up, I'd recommend that one over this one. This is all plastic, no steel end frames so it's not quite as sturdy. It'll still do the job, but I was a little disappointed. For the money it's still good, goes together easily and will work.
