4 Pack Chunky Lift a Flap Board Books: Little Red Barn/ Little Blue Boat/Little Green Frog/Little Yellow Bee Board book – March 15, 2017

These books have been great for my LO. They are a good, thick, durable board book with good, thick chunky flaps that seem to withstand the roughness of baby's hands. My LO loves to read books that are interactive but lots of normal lift-the-flap books have such paper think flaps that an infant/toddler can accidentally but easily rip off. But I love how these books have flaps that allow my LO to interact without me worrying about the pages ripping! And now besides the physical quality of these, the quality of the story is also great. These have a nice rhythmic little story that help little ones discover animals, objects, colors, and rhyming. The illustrations are also very cute, pleasant and captivating for both the one being read to and the one reading. I love these! The only thing I couldn't comment on is because we don't let our little ones put books in their mouths, I could not say how they would handle that.Recommend for:- Baby showers- Ages 6 months and up- 1 year old birthday gift- Easter basket- Christmas stocking stuffer or gift- Seasonal books- blue boat great for summer rotation, Little Yellow Bee and Green Frog would be great for spring, and farm one could be for spring/fall. All of them though, could be read any time.

Oh what lovely books !These are my baby's favorite. I couldn't decide on one, so I got all four. I have plenty, so I can keep them each in a different room, always in arms reach. We have a flap book from Baby Einstein and my baby loved it but those flaps were thin and could not withstand all the grabbing and pulling on it. So, I wanted something sturdy and as per other reviewers mention, the flaps are very durable. The book itself has beautiful illustrations, nice rhyming story line and a surprise animal/object behind every flap. Interestingly, the flaps open from different sides of the page and they are all uniquely shaped so it helps develop fine motor skills immensely. At 6-7 months he was able to lift flaps without any help from me. The frog and the bee book are a bit busy and the barn and blue boat a bit less. I don't think that matters to the baby and he likes them alike. These books have been chewed, drooled on, the flaps been pulled and yanked but these books are still holding good. Overall very high quality and fabulous flap books.

My children range in ages from 1-5 and they all love these books. They are so sturdy, in fact I’ve never seen such awesome flap books for toddlers that one or the other of my kids don’t accidentally rip the flaps off in excitement until these. I like that they subtly incorporate color names and different animals into their books for my children to be exposed to and the illustrations are adorable. I’m always on the lookout for cottage door press books.

My daughter LOVES these, especially the bee. The bee has the most gorgeous illustrations, too!The flaps are ingeniously designed so they're easy for a baby to grab. In fact, these books helped my daughter develop the fine motor skills necessary to open flaps in other books without any help at all. (I used to have to hold it off the page a few millimeters so she could get a grip.)

I bought these when my grandson was one. He loved to lift the flaps on books. I just read all four of them to him again tonight (one year later). They have few pages but the “stories” are lovely, the illustrations are wonderful and the books are very sturdy. He loved them when I first got them and he still loves to read them. I plan to get several more sets for gifts

Cute board book set. My little guy loves it. Only draw back is they are constructed of material that is super hard and heavy. My two y.o. son tends to throw things and these do some damage to the things they hit.

Sturdy pages and flaps, even compared to other board books. The art is clear and bright, and I love the rhyming couplet on each page. A wonderful set - strongly recommended. This would be a great gift for a new baby- the books can stand up to some chewing and being thrown about.

I fell in love with these 4 books when I received them. It took my daughter a little longer to love them though. After having them a few months, she’s now 18 months, and they are her favorite books. We read each one at least once per night. The Little Green Frog is our favorite of the 4 right now. The illustrations are stunning!The Little Yellow Bee also has gorgeous illustrations.The flaps are very thick and sturdy. I know they’ll last a long time.I’m so glad I ordered these!

Love love reading these w my <12 mths baby. They’re perfect size for little hands. The board book and flaps material are sturdy to withstand baby grabbing. Beautifully illustrated with great rhymes! Win win win.
