No Issues First Try
I have had issues in the past cutting and splicing LED Strips. I expected I would have to fix one or more of my connections, but I didn't. I had 4 total connections and each one was perfect when I turned the lights on for the first time. This was so much easier than soldering wires.

Did the job with good clamping power
Used these with multiple strips of LED lights and the only caveat is that they do not work with silicone-coated strips (which is expected). Had no issue opening or closing, none broke during installation, worked as expected. Good value overall, recommended.

These are essential to running multiple strings of LEDs from a single receiver
These adapters make it possible to run wires from one string of LEDs to another. If you have a spool of 4-wire cable, you can do things like add additional light strips across a hallway or above cupboards without the need for an additional receiver. Most receivers can support 25-50 feet of RGB LED tape, so if you have multiple areas that need light and no not want lights in between those areas, this kit plus a spool of 4-wire cabling can get the job done. There is no soldering required and you don't even need to strip wires. Clamp the ends of the adapters down to 'bite' into the wires on one side and to the contacts of the LED strips on the other. They lock closed and are very sturdy. I cannot comment on water resistance, but I would not use these outdoors without some sort of shrink tubing.

Easier than soldering for some applications
I have been using these on LED strip lights and in some areas they are much easier to use than soldering the wires to the strip light. They are a bit bulky in small areas so sometimes I have to resort to solder, but for most applications they work great.

Completely Useless
Ordered these to connect several strings of outdoor lights. The wire side connections worked easy enough, but started to brown in 2 days after a rain. The side that attaches to the LED strip couldn't make good contact. I tried with several connectors and a few fresh pieces of LED lights, but the blue never made contact and I couldn't color change them. I used some old connectors from other strings and everything worked so I know it wasn't me.
