The “hanging toiletry bag” has been around forever. I used to buy the plastic ones at off-price retail stores but gave up on them in the ‘00s because they would fall apart, the hanger would break, it was too hard to get my stuff into the pockets, and the lack of structure would cause the bag to get squished in my luggage, which led to spills. I would end up putting shampoo etc. in a separate sealable bag, which defeated the purpose. They also had Velcro closures that didn’t hold, and the Velcro would snag my clothes.I revisited because lately I travel to a lot of big cities where the hotel bathrooms don’t have much space.This bag is extremely well designed. It has just enough structure to keep your stuff from getting squished in your suitcase, and the shape is easy to pack around. It will never open accidentally. Handles make it easy to pull out without opening your luggage all the way.The double zippered pockets also make it easy to get items in and out quickly. (With the older bags I actually jabbed myself a few times while fishing around in a deep pocket and hitting tweezers or something. Or I’d be pulling out one bottle and knock everything else over.) The variation in pocket sizes feels well thought out in terms of the toiletries women pack, so there’s an obvious home for bottles of haircare product with elastic straps to keep them from tipping. The smaller pockets are ideal for little items like spare razor blades, safety pins, hair elastics, and basically anything you don’t want to get lost at the bottom of a bag.To date it has accompanied me on five trips, two international, and I’ve had no spills and the hanger is holding up great. It still looks brand new.

This bag is the BEST bag to have to travel with. I got the Large size and love it. It holds large bottles which can go in straight up or sideways. The bag holds a lot. I love that it can hang up on a door knob or the back of the door and won't break. It's just all around the best type of travel bag. I highly recommend for you to get one! I have always used the Vera Bradley hanging organizer but i started to dislike the size, compartments, and packing size.I LOVE this travel bag… I mean love it. I brought it Europe for 15 days and it made packing and unpacking so easy. I didn’t stay in one place longer than 2 days so this surely came in handy. I got the LARGE1. After using it for a two week trip across Italy, I loved how quick it was to pack and go from place to place. The yellow color was easy to find in my luggage for quick unpacking. The hanging hook was great. I’m going to make a few modifications to what I brought, and then I should be able to fit all my makeup in too. I kept it separate thinking I’d want access to it, but plan on combining them for next time.
