Permatite 250H butyl tape is a high cross linked butyl rubber compound designed for maximum adhesion to most surfaces. 250H butyl tape exhibits excellent performance in areas where joint movement, expansion and contraction are present. High cross linked and modified butyl rubber compound. Contains "0" VOCs. Self-sealing. Butyl rubber base. Meets ASTM E-84. Seals and bonds to galvanized metal, aluminum, stainless, plastic, wood, glass and concrete. 100 Percent solids. 600 Percent elongation. Service temperature: -40 degree to 250 degree F [-40 degree to 121 degree C]. Penetration: 8 to 8.5 millimeters 150 grams Load at 78 degree F [26 degree C]. Chemical resistance: excellent to water, water vapors, acid vapors <100 ppm and alcohols. Bonding time: instant tack, full set 25 hours. Method: apply to a clean dry surface. Trim to fit. remove release liner. Preparation: clean debris and oils from area. Sealing and bonding galvanized metals, aluminum, glass, wood, plastics, masonry and more.
