Unique story
All of the books in this series have involved a man or women from the very large, blended McCrae family. What strikes me every time is that when following the story of yet another McCrae, I can still remember the siblings and their stories when they put in an appearance in subsequent books. M.S. Parker does not overwhelm us with huge amounts of secondary characters, but the ones she chooses to include in each story are memorable and integral. So A DRESS FOR CURVES is such a good book for a number of reasons. Carson seems like he gets immersed in what he lives whether it is work or his relationship. Vixen is a free spirit and unwilling to rely on someone else to take care of her.The story involving Vixen’s background is both unique and interesting. I wouldn’t have minded a little more time spent on that part, but that’s just me. A great addition to the Scottish Billionaires series (and also good as a standalone).

Intriguing
Riveting. I grew up in a commune, free spirited commune but when my choices were taken from me I ran! Take a journey to my new life.

Loved Carson’s story!
Carson was nothing like I previously thought of him and I am so glad! Book 10 was just as great as the previous 9. Original and imaginative. Some of the family comes to the rescue when needed! Just love the Mc Creas!

Survival
Vix and Carson came from two different worlds. Finding Cox was a major breakthrough for Carson's all size lingerie line. He and Vix went through a major situation together that brought them closer than they could imagine. This book only focused on Vix's background. More should've been mentioned Iabout Carson. Otherwise, good story.

Meh
As per usual with this series, I wasn't wowed by this book. This book and the entire series was missing elemental items I have come to enjoy from Parker, such as sexual heat and a real connection beyond sexual between the characters. These felt forced, especially in this book when the characters have basically had sex twice, had 1 date, then he "saves" her after she disappears on him and then all of a sudden she's moved in with him and then they're engaged. Rushed and forced equals no connection between characters or for the reader. But that seems to be the theme for this series, making the entire thing pointless to read. Don't waste your time. There are so much better reads out there, including by this author.

Not what I was expecting but a great addition to the Scottish Billionaire series
I read all the Scottish Billionaire series and have loved them all. While I would definitely recommend that you read them all, it isn’t imperative that you do for this to make sense. It would help you in knowing the background of the character references within this book, but it’s easily readable as a standalone title. Now, I don’t usually read reviews before I read a book but I noticed this one had got a few lower ratings and wondered why. When I read words like ‘commune’ i was initially sceptical. Many didn’t like that part and said it spoiled it… however… I completely disagree. It made perfect sense and if you’d read the previous books they are quite action packed… in fact most of MS Parker’s stuff is… and they are always very sexually charged. So the focus this time is on Carson McCrae - fashion designer extraordinaire who has featured not only in this series but also in other Parker series too. I’m so glad he got his own story because quite honestly… he’s a sweetheart and one of those guys that you just know you’d want as a friend in your corner.Working in the fashion industry he’s used to being surrounded by gorgeous women all the time, but they’ve never held his interest. Models were pretty but he’d never mix business with pleasure… that is until he meets Vixen Teal - a stunning, voluptuous beauty that enchants him from the moment he lays eyes on her. She’s perfect for his new fashion line but she’s really no idea how incredible she is.Vix is a wonderfully independent free spirit who has escaped a life that saw her grow up far away from the city. But when she no longer felt safe in the place she’d grown up in, she heads to New York to start her new life. It starts off ok, but then it takes a downward spiral. And who better to pick her up than the utterly gorgeous Carson. She agrees to model for him but as they become closer the inevitable happens and they start falling for each other… of course! Something not everyone is too happy about. However, neither of them could have predicted that her brief encounter with the modelling world could place her back in danger. So when her brother arrives demanding that she goes back with him, she’s in a major dilemma. As much as she doesn’t want to leave Carson and her new life… could she leave others to the same fate she fled from?I really enjoyed this. If anything my four star rating is because it was too short. It also annoys me when the last 5% of the book is chapters to another book. No, give me more of this one! Especially when I’d already read the book it’s promoting because it’s the previous book in the series.I’m hoping that the next instalment wont be too long and I’m wondering which of the huge Family will be next.

Imaginative story line
All was going swimmingly until the commune, which turned out to be a bit of a damp squid in my view. Luckily that bit was towards the end of the book. The commune section should have been either padded out more with in-depth characters or another avenue taken completely, like Carson having his designs stolen, a mole within his organisation. Some intrigue.Liked the sassy Vix, and the workaholic Carson. Dropped a star because of the limp ending. Will say though that the model on the front cover is pretty special. He's get a 5 star rating on his own.
