Sturdy and durable, but why a green plug head on the end of a white surge protector?
This surge suppressor met my needs, and I wanted it in white to go with the office decor. It is white, but the plug head is green?!? Why not white?

Green power cord worked out great for the patio I had to connect many things and it worked great 😊

A surprisingly sturdy, & super-long Extension Cord!
I bought this Extension Cord (I'm not calling this a Surge Protector, and you'll ready why later on) because I needed something at least 8 feet long that could go from a power outlet, under a Queen Size Bed, and to the other side of a 10' X 10' room while still having enough slack to move the extension cord as I needed to. All in all, I had about 4" of slack after snaking the cord through everything said before, and setting up against the wall. This cord is thick, and not easy to love, and doesn't flex easily. This isn't necessarily bad, as the thickness was akin to that of 3-prong outdoor extension cords, minus being built for actual outdoor use. I loved the flat wall connector, as I could plug this in easily between the wall & the bed with no issues. Having 6 outlets is pretty standard, and suited my needs just fine.I would not trust this as a Surge Protector however, as this is the only thing preventing this product from getting the coveted 5 star rating from me. There is no visible surge protection in the project whatsoever, not to mention all surge protectors have all the proper certifications printed on the plug "array" underside, the side where you can hang this if desired, nor is there even one Surge Protector Light on the unit. Finally, if there is integrated surge protection after all, 250 joules isn't enough. I'm not expecting any surge protector to protect against a direct lightning strike, but 250 joules seems pretty minuscule compared to actual Surge Protectors built to handle 1000-2000+ Joules or more. I don't feel confident call this a Surge Protector at all, but rather better-than-average Extension Cord.As a better-than-average Extension Cord, this unit does the job fine. There are enough outlets, the cord is heavy-duty, & it plugs in in most places where others cant thanks to the space saving plug, which is my favorite thing about this product! If you need a rather long extension cord, this does the job well! But if you're looking for a Surge Protector, get yourself a proper Surge Protector instead of this; one with the certifications, reputation, & indicators on the unit to back up being called a Surge Protector.

Green power
With all the junk made today, I try to be very selective, especially on electronics, etc. (things that could be a fire hazard)This is my second Green Power extension cord / surge protector, and it is great. Heavy duty, long cord and the plugs are facing the right way!I use it for my portable office's home station. I just plug in and I'm set. It makes working at home easy and give me peace of mind.I recommend Green Power!

Possibly may not work out of the box
I purchased this surge protector while looking for a power strip that had a long enough cable to stretch from my wall to my couch. Compared to similar products, I found that of the longer (12ft+) cables, this was the most inexpensive option that also had multiple power outlets I could use both for myself and my guests.Immediately out of the box, I plugged in the surge protector and noticed that it did not have a light for one it was in the on position. When I plugged in my laptop to charge, I realized that it was not on at all. Having seen that, I unplugged the surge protector from my one set of outlets in one wall, and tried a different wall, but was met with the same results. At that point, I thought it was broken and then I realized between flicking the switch off and on that sometimes the light that indicates the surge protector is on, sometimes is lit and sometimes turns off. I realized that it only stays on if the switch is perfectly between the "off" and "on" text. Because of this, I put a piece of electrical tape directly in the center of the switch and was able to get it to work consistently. So why did I rate this as 3 stars? Ultimately, my power strip works, and is long enough to stretch to my couch which is what I needed it for, but only because I realized what was wrong and how to fix it. It's possible that others buying this device would have encountered this problem and come to the same conclusion I originally came to when it first wasn't working: "It doesn't work." While you could say that everything works so I should be happy, for any customer buying a surge protector from this company, it is reasonable to assume that just plugging it in should be enough to make it work. And while I was able to find a solution to make it work, someone else could have easily come and returned it, and left a 1 star review saying it didn't work at all and was defective.

Long cord, does the job, get this one
Our new oven does not have a back and I didn’t want a clutter of wires hanging above it. This surge protector fit all my needs. It is long enough to get to an outlet about 4-feet away, and slim enough to fit neatly between my toaster oven and stove. The black color also keeps it somewhat invisible in the kitchen, until I need it for my air fryer, deep fryer, or Instant Pot. I know there is a bazillion other uses for this type of protector, but the only reason I’m looking for is to have it neatly available to me when I’m cooking.

Low joules of surge protection? Otherwise very convenient.
I didn't realize I was supposed to shop for high-joule surge protectors until now. My landlady/lord are suspicious I am consuming too much electricity in my room and that this is overloading the circuit (though the circuit is not breaking?). They are convinced that I need more newer surge protectors and this will solve the problem. It will not but I guess it was necessary to buy better ones to protect my sorta expensive entertainment setup. It's kind of annoying that their wiring is old and they only have two three-prong grounded outlets, so that these are necessary... But whatever. These are convenient, appropriate and ideal for low-wattage equipment or only a few items. Ultimately I spent a few more dollars and got some long ones that were higher-joule surge protectors.
