I received this item on April 11th 2022 and it is May 10th 2022 that I am writing this review. what I can tell you is that my plants soil is perfectly damp and not too dry or too wet I have only had to fill the glass once when I first set thus terracotta watering spike up and it's been almost a full month. I have seeds in the planter that require a long germination period so it's been perfect for my forgetful mind and busy life when I fail to remember to water it. I have a few of these set up and I am in love so far, I only need to refill them once a month to every other month depending on the plant, size of pot, and weather condition if it's outside or inside. overall i definitely would recommend these!

All of the spikes arrived in perfect condition, none were broken. I easily put 8 of them in the ground for my veggie garden in about 30 minutes. Filled up the wine bottles with water and placed in the spikes as directed. We were on vacation for a week (it was sunny and in the 80’s and 90’s the whole time we were gone), every single one of my plants looked great and healthy when we got back and there was still about 1/4 of the bottle of water left in each bottle. Very pleased. I will definitely continue to use these and buy more for more areas of my garden!

Used these with wine bottles to keep my plants watered while we were on a strict no outside water use for 15 days. Los Angeles city/county was making a repairs to a leak in the main water lines so I collected shower water plus dish water to fill bottles to use with these terra cotta watering stakes. Worked great, no plants lost.

One was broken when it arrived which was disappointing. I will be using some of them as caves in my fish tank for breeding fish

I absolutely love these!! I did make a hole in the soil before I inserted them . Heard that tip to avoid breakage . I feel like I will be going home to outdoor plants that look healthy! I started with 2 sets… bought another after I saw the great quality & how well they are packaged!!!! Great price too!!!
