MGA Entertainment MM Collector Fashion Doll S1

I've wanted this doll for so long and was finally able to get her! Her face and makeup are gorgeous, the hair is a mix of lilac & blue, very pretty! Not a fan of the tail situation but might rebody her :) A great buy, very happy!

The mermaid doll came an unconventional window box with a large cut out in the lower left hand corner, which allows for manipulation of the doll's tail. Definitely it's a catchy thing and grabs the attention, the Orra doll is displayed in a swimming position and her face is easy to see. Unpacking takes a while, certainly children would need some assistance.Impression after unpack - Orra's tail is made out of a soft vinyl skin-like material, that's been layered over hard plastic. The bottom of the tail is all grey, the hair also feels nice and silky and is easy to brush. Orra's face look friendly and has beautiful eyes. All the joints (neck, hands, elbows, etc) working well and are made with precision. Overall the mermaid doll is attractive and well made, that makes it a fantastic idea for a present to your child.

A stuning mermaid doll.This is a collectable fashion doll and my daughter now wants to get the other ones.This is package well and comes with glitter hair gel that you put in your hair or the dolls.Recommend for age 4 years and over.My six and nine year old enjoyed playing with this.

Granddaughter loved playing with this in the bath. Changes colour and you can do her hair. Has a few accessories, nice quality & reasonably priced for what it is. You can collect a set

This doll is as adorable as the others I have ordered from this series but I am not really happy with the articulated knee joint - the knee 'pad' is fabric, which makes me wonder where all the water goes when you submerge the doll in water for colour change.As I have noted before, I wish they kept these dolls fully legged and the tail should have been a part that comes off. Well, this doll is lovely and the hair is more manageable than its rock-star equivalent. But I believe it is totally overpriced. The quality is the same as the cheaper dolls, the knees are not really there since there is a tail instead of it, articulated or not and this doll has very limited play value - try loading a mermaid onto a horse or delivering one to a mountain side for a picnic. So, yeah...I would have rated it at 4 stars weren't it costing near £40.
