Nice sight, IF it fits the gun
This is the third SOLOFISH product I have tested. Like the first two, This is a solid product for an exceptional price. If it fits you gun, don't hesitate to buy it. However, be aware that it will never be stable or secure on a Pic rail with only one slot. With one slot attachment, it will wobble and loosen - don't even think about maintaining zero! Fortunately, SOLOFISH provides a second screw It takes more real estate than the diagrams suggest, so you need a 4" barrel with a multi-slot rails, such as a serve Springfield XD.Out of 5 guns I had on hand for testing, only one fit the sight - but the sight worked well there! To bad, I thought it would be a good match for a Kel-Tec P17, but it was too big to fit.

Not bad- but read the review. MPX?
So I have not been using this on any actual firearms nor have I tried to zero it and hold zero with it.- I can speak to its drop / use durability, clamping power, battery life and ease of operation though.I have a son in grammar school and he has an airsoft Sig MPX , a cheap one but Ive thrown things like real flashlights, this , and cheap red dots on it for him as well as a real sling. This mounts perfectly on an MPX under the barrel- I dont know if this is true of a real MPX! It could be.In this position its working well, the battery has lasted months basically not that hes running it all the time. Its PRETTY bright and he has not managed to knock it off the rail or loosen it up. Its been dropped. basically thrown, piled in with other things, I think I STEPPED on it at one point, its been dirty, its gotten wet. I am not saying the seals should adopt this laser... but at LEAST for airsoft its good. Weapon recoil ... not tested. I kind of suspect it would be fine. For the price? Highly recommended- go for others reviews to inquire on real weapon recoil durability or zeroing but for these aspects I covered I can recommend it.

Battery life didn't last long
Worked great until it didn't. The laser was very bright. I only used the laser light a few times and then it died.

I use this as a pointer not a gun sight
(1) Purpose of purchaseI got this unit for the laser, but not to use as a gun laser sight. So this review is mainly of the laser feature without reference to how it fares on a firearm.I use lasers to overcome my tendency to procrastinate. Shining a laser beam on objects and even words on a page assists me in focusing my attention on my next task, where I need to go, and the words I read. A laser, even a Class IIIa laser such as this, is too powerful to utilize this way out of the box, and I apply a variety of techniques, including covering the laser with polarized film, to reduce its effective output.(2) Size and shapeI wanted add a laser to my productivity toolbox that was compact to complement the laser I had been using which is attached to a relatively bulky infrared thermometer "gun." This new unit is light and easy to grip between the forefinger and thumb.(3) The buttonsThe unit has two on/off buttons. These switches are located on both sides of the unit towards the back. It's a natural motion to grasp the unit with a forefinger on one button and the cooresponding thumb on the other. The buttons are stiff enough that picking up the unit does not inadvertently activate it; yet soft enough that very little pressure is needed to toggle them (only one has to be clicked, although both can be pushed simultaneously ). There is a slight amount of haptic feedback to let the user know they've successfully pressed a button.(4) ChargerThe unit came partially charged. I connected the unit to the charger and it charged up fully, the charging light changing color to indicate this. A major reason for the purchase was for the rechargeable battery.
