Prohoe Hoe/Rake - 7 Inch Blade, 54 Inch Handle

Been using this tool since November 2017. Hefty yet well balanced. Sturdy material. Sharp edge. The rake tool on the reverse is prefect for separating stones/pebbles/tough grass clumps from the soil after hoeing. Worth the money. Very well built and thought out product.

This McCleod tool is certainly well made, but the ash handle makes it very heavy, about 6 lbs total. The weight, combined with the thick and non-pliable hardwood handle delivers blisters to gloved hands in short order. If used in trail-building on a rocky tread, the blades need to be sharpened often.

It’s heavy, and sturdy. Will get the job done. The blade is very sharp.

Took this tool on a trail building expedition where my buddy dragged it (unfortunately) on the back of his BOB trailer for 4 miles with many (cringe) rock strikes to the handle. Got to the job site and handle was unscathed. Tool works well. Handle is sturdy. What else can one ask for when building trail? A cooler full of cold sparkling water!

Ordered 54” handle version and received a 40” handle version. Nice hoe, but that’s all it is. Not as great as expected. Absolutely not worth $150.

Substantial hoe! Doubles as a limb severing weapon in the Zombie Apocalypse. No joke, this is the only tool I have that scares me. Heavy, 1/4 inch steel and sharp enough to circumcise a gnat. I use it even I don't need to. Just to watch it work. OutSTANDING quality.

Rogue Hoe tools are awesome. All other hoes are junk in comparison. I use mine for trail building and removing small tree stumps in my yard. I was working with a group of volunters on a local trail project and there was a particular stump that would be nice to remove. One guy said that’s not coming out. I had it out in under three minuets with this Rogue hoe.

This is a premium tool, well made to last a lifetime of use. It makes a hard job much easier, I am able to do some serious weeding and clearing with this.
