Works well for me.
Used to monitor the temperature of a SMD PCB while flowing the solder in a frying pan - so I was measuring temperatures in the range 160C to 200C. Worked well for me and the measured temperature seemed to agree with the melting point for the solder paste I was using.

Useless. No other word for it.
From the outset there were issues, batteries supplied were flat. The feel of the gun was horrible cheap chinesium style plastic.Moving on, the fact that the indicated temp of an object can vary so widely according to the ambient temp is ridiculous. On a known temperature source the readings varied by >20°C despite the gun being left for the proscribed 30 mins or so for it to "adapt to the environment to obtain accurate readings" realistically the equipment should be good to go irrespective of the ambient temp and give instant accurate temperature readings. I've used cheaper IR guns that perform much better. I also notice that it's just gone up in price.Avoid this item, unfortunately Amazon do not allow a zero star or a minus star rating as this device is in the sub zero category (depending on ambient temp of course)

Like a child's toy!
Seems to work ok. Time will tell..... Tiny in size to include screen. Like a toy for a child! Not a tool you'd like to show your DIY friends....

Excelent !
Just the job, I have found the "Hot" Spots and "Cold" spots in my house walls.I can now work out where the heat is going, it gives me fact, not guess work !

Best bang for the buck.
Used this to determine surface temperatures in hot hot Texas summer heat, as well as testing residential and commercial air conditioning equipment ranging from 25 F to 150 F and haven't had any issues. I've checked against thermometers on automobile and computer components and the readings were always <3% difference between models. Could probably use on humans, but people don't usually respond well to lasers being pointed at them.

Nach Tipps aus der Community schien ein berührungsloses Thermometer mit Anzeige des Messfeldes am sinnvollsten. Das Gerät macht das perfekt und es ist besser zu handhaben als der 'normale' Laserpointer zum anvisieren der Messfläche.
