Your comfort zone just got bigger. The Squaw Peak Jacket is your "warmth when you need it" all-around favorite jacket. Premium materials and expert, custom construction combined with innovative technology gives you the most comfortable jacket you've ever felt. NuDown's Variable Insulation Technology, a system of trapped air surrounding the torso, allows you to endlessly adjust your warmth in nature's constantly changing conditions. That plus the ultra-advanced Polartec breathable air permeable insert panel fabrics, pit zips, and you'll be comfortable from sun-up to sun-down, without the hassle of ever stopping to add or drop a layer. Powerful Warmth: When you really need protection from the elements, NuDown jackets and vests offer impenetrable warmth. At max inflation the vest will snug firmly to your torso securely trapping your body heat. At the same time, this internal air pressure blocks the wind from compressing the material. Picture a down jacket in blistering winds: as the wind blows, it moves the surface of the jacket closer to the surface of your skin, thus losing the loft that had provided the warmth. NuDown jackets and vests are immune to compression at full inflation capacity. You'll never feel the cold metal of the chair lift again! New technology really works. Great jacket.
Great jacket! The adjustable air insulation works exactly as promised. I now find myself subtly "tuning" my insulation level throughout the day, as conditions change. Sizing runs a bit large. I often need XL, sometimes just for sleeve length, but fit nicely into a Large with NuDown. Sleeves are plenty long.

Great Tech Ski Jacket
Cool jacket and great design, but I especially love this ski area jacket because it solves two main problems. When I go up the chairlift early in the cold morning, I need heat and as my muscles and the day warms up, I need to dump heat. The inflation system of my jacket allows me to satisfy both needs. So I don’t have to wear a lot of layers, or take off layers as I get hot. The second problem is that my thick down jacket soaks through on a wet day and the Nudown doesn’t.
