The grill showed up on-time exactly as they said it would. However, there was a noticable dent in the bottom part of the smoker. strong enough to remove the finish. Had to go and get Rust Olium High Heat paint to repair it. Didn't think it needed to be sent back because of it. It was very easy to assemble although the directions are aweful small and unless you have 20/20 vision you may need a magnifying glass. The bolts are NOT identified but there are only two lengths and it takes about 5 seconds to figure out which ones to use.What really bummed me out was that there was no cover included. I mean 700.00 bucks and no cover....for an electric smoker....that cannot be left out in the elements.....Traeger put a freaking cover in with the smoker. Also no sample of wood pellets. So you have to go out and buy wood pellets and a cover.....Other than those comments it works great......

The grill was purchased as a gift for some very good friends of ours who lost their home in the Tubbs fire Oct. 8th, 2017 in Santa Rosa, Ca. The family had their home re-built and just moved back in to their home June 2019. A few of their friends & Family got together to purchase the Traeger grill for the family. We had a BBQ at their re-built home July 6th and when I asked Donnie how he liked the Traeger grill, he responded by saying "there isn't anything this grill can't do". And I must say the chicken and hamburgers we ate were so very delicious.

I love the Traeger but I wish I would have bought the Pro version of this for 3 reasons. Number one reason to buy a pro is ease of removing pellets. It is a pain to switch pellets on the elite models. There is no trap door in the back like the pro has. Number two reason - it doesn't come with the second rack. Number three reason - the pro comes with temperature probe. I would buy Traeger again though.

This is our 2nd Traeger grill. The 1st one lasted us 10 years. These grills are simply amazing...fire up the grill while you prep your food, when the grill reaches the desired temp, put the food on and get ready for a delicious meal. We have prepared our entire Thanksgiving meal on our Traeger grill, including the pies. It imparts a great wood smoke flavor to everything. These grills are pricey but in our book, well worth the money. They are durable and reliable for years of service and the food you prepare is awesome.

Got the grill when the delivery. Packaging was so so, fairly beat up. Product went together well. Once the product was put together I notice damaged. Will include the photos.Instructions are fairly clear and straight forward. Took about 30minutes to get it put together and another hour to so to do the start up procedure and seasoning process.I was able to fix the damage but doubt I would order another one. Would rather buy an undamages unit from a box store.Damage was located on the right side next to the stack. Where the lid would seal. The damaged caused a gap of about 3/8 of an inch. I was able to get it true enough it seals fairly well now. Catch can handle wouldn’t fold up and was fairly out of round. Was able to get it some what back to shape.

This is a great product! This Traeger Texas 34 grill has tons of space and good temperature controls. I like being able to throw some meat in there and not worry about whether the temperature is still correct. I just return for the various phases and this smoker does it right every time. Also, cleanup is simple and this system overall is very low maintenance. I replaced my previous gas smoke and gas BBQ with this singe Traeger smoker and am better for it in every way. It is ideal for a large family or semi-large gathering of friends.

Go ahead and get the larger one. Save yourself some $$. Would have been nice if I had been advised to do so. I bought the smaller one, (PelletPro), over 4 years ago from Amazon. It has always been too small. I finally broke down and got the Traeger. Only thing I regret, is thinking I was saving money on the small one. Now I have bought 2. Easy to put together on it's side, hard to upright. I'm female and put it together, neighbor had to upright it for me. 150 lbs!

I am not sure what I like the most yet because my grill has not worked properly once yet. I got it 2 months ago. At first it would not get hot at all. Called customer service and they had me take apart the hopper to get to the wiring. I had to be an electrician for petes sake! I told them just to please send a new one and they said that's not how they operate. Apparently customer service is not their strong suit. After about an hour the hot rod started working after plating with all the wires. Then while cooking Christmas dinner meat it stopped working again. It happened two more consecutive times and that was enough after several hundred dollars worth of good meat was ruined. Called them again and I asked to have a new one sent.... and guess what... that is not how they operate. Had to take it somewhere 30 min away and after a few days he called and said the motor was not working. So to be honest... so far.... all is nothing but negativity.
