I keep this compass on my keychain to quickly assess which way I'm facing before I start navigating with Google Maps. It's a bit larger than I expected but still comfortably fits in my pocket. The plastic face feels soft; I expect that it will get scratched over time. In addition, the carabiner isn't incredibly secure--the compass has already come unclipped once and fallen off my keychain (luckily it was turned into lost & found), so I'm looking for a way to attach it directly to the key ring. However, it's much better quality than other key chain compasses that I've seen, including the Silva Metro that I recently wore out. Compared side-by-side to my $70 racing compass, it is accurate and reasonably responsive. I'm comfortable relying on it for hikes and walks around town, but I wouldn't count on it for backpacking. Most compasses will develop bubbles if exposed to extreme heat, so don't leave any compass (including this one) in a hot car. Overall, it's just what I was looking for, but I'll be interested to see how durable it is after riding around in my purse and pocket for a few months.

Ich nutze den Kompass auf meinem Schlauchboot ( ein Kompass ist auf manchen Gewässern vorgeschrieben z.B.: auf dem Bodensee). Der Kompass lässt sich mit dem Karabiner gut am Boot befestigen. Die Richtung ist genau und kann gut abgelesen werden. Durch die Gummierte Oberfläche ist der Kompass auch gut geschützt bei raueren Einsatz (Wandern,Klettern). Ich kann den Kompass weiter empfehlen und würde ihn auch noch mal kaufen.

Es un gaget que parece de calidad y puede ser muy útil, .... no soy experta pero diría que es de buen funcionamiento y calidad.

Bussola compatta, abbastanza precisa. Moschettone e custodie lasciano desiderare tantissimo, materiali scadenti e troppo 'legeri', ma a questo prezzo, ragazzi miei, che cosa vogliamo peretendere? L'importante è cha la bussola funziona, e come uno strumento di navigazione di riserva va benissimo. La bussola e riempita con qualche liquido olioso ed ha una protezione di gomma intorno al corpo della bussola stessa. In caso vi dovesse cadere - non si rompe. Buon prodotto.
