Have bought a few of these and they are good quality, easy to set up and use. All have been perfect, all the pieces were in the boxes. Have seen crows land on the hooks and they shake it to get the bird food to fall, the ground birds are happy.

Upon receiving it looked a good strong sturdy item ,I looked at instructions and decided there were parts missing ,I made to return ,looking again at the picture I noticed that all the parts were there ,it was wrong instruction sheet ! I erected it and placed it where I wanted it ! I'm 81 years !!!

As mentioned by other reviewers, the pole is slightly different from what's shown in the instructions. However, assembly is so simple nobody should need instructions. It looked OK until I looked down the length of the assembled tubes and spotted it was bowed. After adjusting in a vice, All was straight again. I set the pole up in the garden this morning and tapping the base into firm clay was easy. I suspect it will be stable in the usual sea breeze I experience in the back garden, but I plan to take it down in high winds.***** UPDATE *****I noticed the feeder pole swaying a little in the wind today and removed one section to see if things improved. That seemed to do the trick. Also, I noticed it was not horizontal. Applying a little pressure with my boot to one side of the base resolved that as well. You will not need a spirit level. Just hang one or two feeders on the hooks and when they are level with the poll, you know it's straight.

I bought this because mine was old and looked shabby, this one looks really nice, it took the birds a few days to get used to it, but now it's business as usual.

So who is looking on Amazon for a totally affordable, stainless steel bird feeder pole? This fool. Did I think I'd find it? Absolutely not. But I did. Here it is. I didn't even look at the instructions so I can't comment on whether they were accurate or not. It was so simple to put together. It's a little top heavy so to make it more sturdy we're surrounded the base with some large rocks we had around the garden. Perfect. Actually thinking about getting another one "just in case"!

Easy to put together, good height. Got it and the spikes securely into the garden when ground was frozen using a rubber mallet. Nice and sturdy, looks smart and the two hooks take the feeders well. Looked at a few of these stands with very mixed reviews - this one is great value!

The paper work for the bird pole is not the one for item in box so did confuse me and my daughter. So be aware you need to fig it out and chuck paper work in the bin
