After trying several modern radio alarm clocks I have finally found one that almost matches the simplicity, and delivers the necessary features as elegantly, as my old Sony. I thought the Sony had died, but it turned out to be a back up battery cell that needed replacing. After 30 years! so it lives on, downstairs for breakfast.Radio tuning has changed. So, of course, it's more difficult. My Sony had a tuning dial that you turned and you were tuning. All the modern ones have multi-purpose buttons, you press these buttons and nothing happens, so you are back to the instruction books, which are are dense and long. Usually in microscopic type. It is 1000 times more difficult to set these radios up than my old Sony.This comparatively inexpensive little Anjank is the best one I found. I was able to find and keep my preferred station for the alarm. It has a clear, dimmable, display, which is visible from all angles. The sound is also very good for such a small device.

Good value and clear face to read at night

I have used this for a few days now. It's easy to setup and I love the 0-100% variable dimming which was one of the primary reasons for buying this clock. I can set the brightness to whatever I want rather than be limited to one of a small number of fixed settings. It's really easy to setup and I like the fact that there are 2 alarms.One great feature is that the radio is at a volume that you control via a dial on the back, so I can set the volume low so when the alarm goes off (in radio mode) it only wakes me and not my wife!

Display is great, radio is easy to tune in and use. Haven’t tried the alarm but didn’t purchase it for that… a great, easy to use, nice looking bit of kit! Just what I wanted

Bought this as a gift to replace an old clock radii. This is neat and fairly compact. Looks great, dispkay is large and clear.. radio reception of F m reasonable but sometime when set on radio akarm it comes on but 3 times now very loud beeping instead that wakes the whole house. It arrived in very minimal packaging, just a plastic sleeve, cable, batyeries and instructions. I am going to contact Amazon today to see if tgete is any way I can return it as never had any sort of box and get a refund as person O bought it for says rather put her old one back.

This is a basic clock radio. Reception and reproduction of fm signal is fine. It's best feature is the large, blue digital clock face which is easily adjustable for brightness...a must for use in a bedroom. I don't use the alarm so can't comment on that.

Radio looks good, small and goodinstructions well written.Unfortunately the radio didn't work, probably because of where we live, with high hills and a forest on three sides.

This item was purchased to replace my 40 year old Radio Alarm which had finally given up the will to work. Needless to say the "new technology" has been a problem leaving me scratching my head as to how I can get it to wake me up at 06.15 a.m. each morning with the familiar sound of BBC Radio 3. This morning I had to be content with irritating "pip sounds" but I hope that tomorrow it will be a far more tranquil experience. I was impressed with the brightness of the illuminated figures of this digital timepiece but found that when I decided to get to sleep last night the bedroom was still lit up like a discotheque until I used the dimmer control on the clock. I hope that the radio alarm will work tomorrow morning otherwise the day will be getting off to a poor start!
