It's larger than I thought
It's just what I wanted. But, I didn't check the size . It is larger than I thought. It does the job.

Very wide and quite shallow
Maybe my fault for not reading the description properly, but I find this colander a but tricky.It is very wide and very shallow, so if draining lettuce, it's difficult to give it a shake without the contents flying out all over the place.Also cheap plastic, so I don't expect it to last that long.Cheap though; and that's really all it's got going for it.

Great for growing bean sprouts.
I bought this along with a circular plastic bowl to grow bean sprouts.The handles ensure that it hangs in the bowl so the sprouts are above the drained water.Worked a treat!
