The media could not be loaded.  My family is a star war fan and hence we decided to get this for our toddler so that we can have some family fun time. Did not want to spend on the expensive ones and after searching on Amazon ended up with this. Overall it is fun to play and for the price, it is worth it to have one in the home. It is a fancy product and works as described. I would recommend this product overall.My 2 cents are below:Pros:- Fancy and intuitive lightsaber to use- My kid loves to play with it. Light and sound effects together keep him engaged- It is lightweight overall and my toddler is easily running with it in the home- 7 color options to change from & has inbuilt color changing modes- Battle mode is a nice feature in these and adds to the fun of playing with it- Has inbuilt rechargeable batteries that can give backup for up to 3 hours depending on how you use it- Manufacturer claims that it takes 3 hours to charge it completely & I found it correct in my experience- Sound is loud enough for a lightsaber- Convertible to dual-bladed lightsaber if you get two quantities of this product- The USB charging cable makes it versatile to power these through different methods- Good build quality overall- Comes in nice packaging making it a giftable option- Reasonably priced in the competitionCons:- It has a proprietary DC charging port & not a USB-C as per the latest market standards- I wish there was some way to adjust the sound volume between low to high- I wish it had more realistic sound as Star wars

This “toy” is straight up adult worthy. Sound effects when it moves or hits things and is very bright. My cat even wants to play with it. The handle is strong metal like material. This is cos play worthy.

Even though it’s not exactly like the movies, it’s still fun to mess around with. Pretty good quality for what you pay for it in my opinion! To be completely honest, the sound effects aren’t the best, but I use it in mute mode and it’s just fine.

This is my third lightsaber. I might have a problem… and that problem is not enough lightsabers!The first item I received was defective. It would give a “low power” warning, which is normal when the battery needs charging. However, when I went to charge it, it would immediately state, “charging complete”. I tried leaving it plugged in and changing outlets. I even changed charging cables. No luck.Of course, getting a replacement from Amazon was super easy, barely an inconvenience. This one charged up fine, with the cool voice feature working as intended. Unfortunately, the blade would not sit right and rattled around no matter how I adjusted the set screws. I ended up sanding the bottom of the saber blade down a little, which helped a lot. I’ll probably put a silicon washer at the base as well.Overall length of this lightsaber is 41” with a useable blade length of about 30”. I would call this a medium length lightsaber, compared to the other two I own. Fine for adults and kids, for either costuming or epic saber duels.Compared to my Adawlert brand lightsaber ($130), the features are a bit lacking. However, I think it’s a step up from my TXQ brand lightsaber ($90) in function and form. The controls are very different and took me a while to get used to. Luckily, the instructions were actually helpful. I won’t say they are great, but the best I’ve seen out of the three brands.It feels good and solid in hand, but the build quality is a little less polished than the other brands. There was a loose wire mesh insert in the hilt that spilled several strands of wire when I unscrewed it. Also, this is the first time I’ve seen both a battery and circuit board seal wrapped. I’m sure it’s to keep the battery from slipping off its contacts while being smashed around, so seems like a good idea.The ergonomic design is very good, probably my favorite out of all three sabers. I really like that it has a charging port on the hilt that doesn’t require disassembly. The button for activation and controls is slightly recessed in the handle, so less chance of accidentally triggering it. I purchased this for my husband at Christmas and he loves it! I like to try to get at least one toy or activity for him, instead of just boring adult gifts. He spent all day playing with this and brought it to his parents house to show it off to his older brother (and yes these men are pushing 40 years old lol).

My youngest son received a different light saber from Amazon to go with his halloween costume, my older son got jealous so I bought this one for his birthday. It's really tiny compared to the other one for the same cost I expected more. The two pieces do not attach to each other. It does not turn on or hold a charge. This is the worst purchase on Amazon I've made. I thought with all the positive reviews it'd be a decent toy but it's really not. I'm having a huge issue with returning as well, stores that do Amazon returns refuse to take it and now have to find a box, print and affix a label to the box, then take to ups. This was definitely a bust! So dissatisfied and to top it off I have a disappointed son who just wanted a working light saber to play with his brother.

Took a punt with this as it's practically impossible to truly know what the quality would be like.Well, I'm blown away by how good this lightsaber is (do I sound like Yoda?).Loads of colours, loads of samples, ability to change the volume, the hilt is well built and it can stand a proper dual. My son loved it.

My kids love sc-fi films and although they don't know everything and aren't uber fans, they do enjoy role playing when they can and these lightsabers allow them to do just that.They are designed for looks and sounds so you definitely get a full play experience, the light itself has a great look to it and sounds seem to match up closely to those in the films.You should still be careful though as too many hits can leave marks on the saber itself as well as marks on the hilt, but my children seem to have been careful with the light sabers themselves just not as much so with the walls around them.Overall, it's great fun for the kids and looks like they'll last if looked after.

My 12 year old has bought this with birthday money....and both my 12 and 10 year old sons think it is brilliant. It's only been used today so can't really comment on durability yet but it is working well so far, has good weight to it and seems sturdy. All the features controlled by the single button are working well and they are working hard on their Jedi/Sith saber skills and loving it. It looks cool. I was skeptical about spending £40 on this and initially tried to talk my son out of it but I must admit this is better than I thought and it might just be worth the money assuming it doesn't break.
