EDIT 2018: This item worked for a while. The app/server seemed to had been a server issue so it works. It randomly stopped working COMPLETELY on the last day of 2018 after a power outage. I would try to contact the company but this is IMPOSSIBLE since they are gone from the web, so now I have a 20 dollar paperweight (thankfully it was on lighting sale for 6 bucks less).Moral of the story: Buy from a trusted brand, don't save the few extra bucks. If it breaks you're done.I brought this during late summer 2017. At first I got a DOA one and I was able to get it replaced for free. Then it worked perfect. The app was never the best for I gave it a 4/5 as it worked with Alexa and such.Come back to half a year later and the app no longer works and this device is just another useless Chinese paperweight. I noticed something was off when it stopped turning on and off at night, and once I opened their app I realize the no longer support their app and they their servers are down.As of now this item is currently unavailable, but if it ever goes back on sale DO NOT buy it. Buy a more established brand, even if it costs more. You will have a better time.I paid for a product that ended up not doing what it was meant to do. I am saddened and disappointed at this product, and the fact that I will never get a refund. DO NOT BUY

It was challenging to interpret the directions, and after several tries to connect with different settings on my wifi, I realized whats missing in your program is a prompt that confirms the entered password is "accepted" or "denied" before the device tries to configure and initiate contact. So I tried an alternate password spelling and it WORKED! Please consider adding the accept/deny feature to your program.The devices work fine and I was easily able to share my light controls with my wife's phone too. I am wondering what will happen to the devices if the wifi fails?

I really like this wifi plug! It was easy to use with downloaded app. Less than 5 minutes from openning the box to clicking it on and off and setting up a timer. It is limited to the 2.4Gh network! The App controls the plug via a serve on the Internet so it may not work if the plug can't reach the server or I can't setup anything if the App can't reach the server. It would be nice if it works without the server then I would have to configure my router and have to deal with dynamic IP. Overall very nice unit!

I purchased this during a deal and was excited because of the low price. Unfortunately I couldn't get it to work. I spent and hour or two trying to get it to work and finally gave up. It's been a month or so since I tried but I remember the directions as being fairly cryptic. I gave two stars instead of one because maybe if I spent a few more hours I could get it to work but just wasn't worth it. Should be easier to get working. Unfortunately with these IOT devices it either works or doesn't and it's really tricky to figure out what the problem is.I write computer software and deal with technology for a living so I'm technically savvy enough that I should have been able to get this to work but who knows maybe it was just me not being able to get it to work.

I love this thing! I was honestly worried as I set this up on a window AC unit upstairs, and it's about as far away from my router as it can be in my house, but it picked up the WiFi no problem.Setup was painless. Just read and follow the instructions. They app is simple and clean, and the alexa skill is working perfectly for me. Now I can turn my AC on and off with an alexa command, or from anywhere else via the app.

Easy to set up and use. I use it to remotely control the well pump at my vacation house so I could turn off and on my irrigation system when we are away. All I had to do was set up the smart switch with port forwarding on my wi-fi internet router, and set up an account at the Swiftrans website.

One click to shut off electricity for my desk lamp with this wifi smart plug.I used this smart outlet for my heater while I was on vactiom with my wife. I downloaded their app and it was fairly simple to use. Wifi smart plug works great without any lags with amazon echo via wifi or wireless data. Works extremely smooth with amazon Alexa.

Works great... pretty easy to install, however, I cannot find any smart bulbs made by this company. If I had known this I would have chosen a different brand. The main objective of investing in this type of technology is convenience. It is NOT convenient to need two different apps to run my lights (one for the plugged in lamps and another for the light bulbs). Kind of disappointing!!
