Great Buy!!!
Perfect for our deck...goes with our years old wrought iron table and chairs...bought a cushion at Job Lot...almost long enough and not weather proof, but hubby says very comfortable!!! I like sitting on it without the cushion!!! Right out of the box, my husband had this chair functional in very few minutes!! seems sturdy and weather proof. I've wiped it down with cloth from rain or dew and it looks great. I take the cushion indoors each night, and only put it on the chair if it is dry. Easy for me to move by picking up from the foot end, and very easy to change slope when you are out of the chair. I've adjusted it for hubby while he was sitting up..:) So glad I bought this chaise for him on Father's Day!!!

4.5 Stars for Design & Durability
I spent a lot of time looking for the perfect chaise lounges in a variety of price ranges. Finally settled on two of these. With the exception of one minor construction weakness, I couldn't be happier! The chairs are sturdy and the design is distinctive - really pops on my patio. The back and seat flex slightly, providing comfortable seating even without a cushion. This chaise lounge would have earned 5 stars if the legs at the foot of the chair and the side frame were one continuous piece. You can't see it in the photo but the side frame and leg actually are two pieces. The 10" or so straight leg piece inserts into the curved side frame. The leg stays put because of gravity - there's no screw or bolt to secure it. Once in place the legs are sturdy, as long as you aren't rolling the chair around. It could ever slip out and be lost during lifting/moving. If that were to happen, the chair instantly becomes useless. I put a small piece of black tape around the legs to ensure they doesn't come off. The integrity of the chair would be better if the side frame and leg were one continuous piece. That said, these were not too difficult to put together and are extremely attractive.

Chaise
We LOVE it and highly recommend it!!! However, if you purchase a cushion for it, make sure you check the dimensions of the chaise before ordering because it is large.

YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR
Made in China. Requires assembly. Confusing instructions. Nuts and bolts don't line up very well. I had to use a clamp to assemble some parts.Install six bolts. Whoops. Wrong washers, obscure in the instructions. Remove and reinstall six bolts. Whoops. Forgot to install the rear axle, obscure in the instructions. Remove more bolts, try again. Front leg falls out--spring knob not springy. Guess I will have to try to drill a hole in the leg and buy a bolt. Like trying to assemble Frankenstein. Finally done. One leg an inch off the ground. Have to sit on the chaise to flatten it out.Woodard used to mean quality. No more.
