I needed a way for my ill brother to get my attention because his voice is not strong enough to call me and these little bells did the trick. I had also tried the other kind of bell that you slap the top on and he was too weak to hit it hard enough. These bells he just has to pick up and shake a little and I can hear it. Good Purchase!

If you need someone to hear you from a miles away, this is your bell! LOL. Its nice. Works like a bell should d: We got this to replace my daughter's little bell that she got with a kids music set. Little did we know... this thing is a beefcake when it comes to big sound. Definitely only get this if you're looking for something really loud!

So its prefect, my wife takes care of her Aunt and she needed something loud to hear her when she was down stairs cleaning and her aunt needed something. She states it works well, I'll take her word for it.

you know, the cost is low but this bell doesn't really work that well. It's design is bad-after a couple of rings, the ringer tends to go in a circle so you can't get an extended ringing sound. For our purposes, that was an important consideration-so if you need extended rings-this probably won't work for you? At least, that was our experience.

Sturdy bell with just the right amount of sound. My elderly mom rings the bell to call for us when she needs help with something. It works great. I would recommend.

Just received these today (bought a 2-pack). Upon first use they seem great for the low price. They feel good, work well, and sound good too. I'll update this review if continued use changes my opinion.

We are very satisfied with these handbells. They are loud enough to hear from one end of the house to the other.
