You Can Watercolor On These!
First of all, you CAN watercolor on these pretty papers. Just be careful and experiement with a sheet or two. You can't use tape but I had no trouble not using tape. It didn't bleed through to the back. There are some flaws and some creases on some of the papers but that just adds to the character of old paper. I made this art yesterday morning and sold it within a few hours. Stamping as well works wonderfully. It doesn't lift if you want to remove a mark where you made a mistake but you can lift to lighten a color or remove too much water. They are fun to paint on :) I love it and think it's beautiful. ♥️

Good quality paper, but flimsy
I bought this paper to paint handmade postcards on. While it is great quality and soaks the paint/water well, it is too flimsy to put through the mail. Simple solution - I glue this paper to Strathmore Watercolor Postcards, 4”x6”. That paper is very sturdy, and has lines on the back of each card for correspondence and address, as well as stamp. Simple craft glue works perfectly to put them together. After I do this, everything is sturdy enough to mail.If you aren’t looking to mail this paper, I’d give it 5 stars. I love the “torn up” looking edges. Gives the paper a unique look.I would purchase again.

This paper is AMAZING!
This 100% cotton watercolor paper exceeded my wildest dreams! I purchased it to make maps for a pirate treasure hunt. I used markers, oil pastels, watercolor crayons with a blending pen, and acrylic paint pens to get all effects I was looking for. I even put a wax seal in the upper right corner (not shown in this image.) This paper handled all the media I used like a champ! It's not the cheapest paper, but well worth the price! I would definitely buy this again. I highly recommend purchasing this gorgeous handmade paper. I would give it ten stars if I could!Footnote: I rarely write reviews unless something stuns me.

Perfect for quick paintings
Really cant say enough about this paper. It is so fantastic for a quick painting. No it cant handle a massive amount of water - its not THAT sturdy - but for a basic general painting its so great. Ive told so many people about this paper lol - It is my go to for a quick study or practice. I use arches for a more professional painting but arches is not cheap.. this is perfect for the price.

Unexpected and unusual
Lovely texture, old style linen feel. Thin, but handles water well. I wouldn't scrub, but this is an inspiring surface for when you're in an art rut. Don't expect it to behave like a pressed or mould made cold press and it is quite enjoyable. Paint can move a bit like hot press, but with texture.

Wonderful for watercolor!
When I got this in the mail, I thought it would be too soft for producing fine detail (I paint in watercolor, but highly detailed). I was wrong! This paper holds crisp, clear lines. It is sturdy with a 'laid" surface finish, and the "vintage" paper is much lighter than it looks in the photos. It is a sort of an ecru with darker deckles. Paper is not too thick, and is opaque when held up to the light. The deckles are so nice and I love that it came in a small size! It's also a great price for 50 sheets of a handmade cotton watercolor paper! Highly recommended!

They are definitely hand made
These are great except the paper sometimes doesn't stay together. If you stroke the paper too much it starts to disintegrate. But for what they are they work well enough for me. Not sure if I would buy them again but definitely better than having nothing.
