Q: Will the suction cup hold/fit on 4.25-4.38" tiles without an edge of the cup over the grout?

I would not recommend suction cup grab bars on any surface. The suction only lasts for a short period of time before you need to reclamp them. They can fail when they are most needed.

Q: My shower is glazed like from Bath fitters will this work on it.

I'm not familiar with the term "bath fitters" but if its a smooth surface it will work, can this "glazing" be removed just in the area where the grab bar will go? Maybe some kind of cleanser (Comet, Soft-Scrub,etc) to clean it in that area before you install it. My grab bar has been on now for 3 months-never had to reapply it and still holding strong.

Q: What is the hole in the back of the handle for and can it be covered with tape to prevent water from entering the bar?

I don’t know what the hole is for. I returned this after purchasing for my mother. I placed it in the shower on large smooth tile. It originally seemed strong but popped off within an hour. I placed it again after prepping tile with alcohol. It popped off again within a few hours.

Q: Will these adhere to marble tile?

As long as the marble tile is flat and smooth, and non-porous, they work.
