Used this to replace the inlet that came with our Intex pump. We expanded the existing hole use for the smaller inlet and then simply installed this new flat inlet on the inside, and screwed right on from the outside. We did seal around the the inlet on the interior and exterior with flexible sealer water-tight, then hooked up directly to our Intex 1.5" valve. Works GREAT! So pleased with this purchase!!

Easy to use for stock tank!

Works great with our stock tank pool and is compatible with the 1.5” intex pump fittings, with zero leaks. Expensive for what it is, but worth it for zero fuss.

Works perfect for a stock tank pool. Very overpriced but it’s the only thing I could find that works.

Difficult to clean out

Easy to install and great value for money to increase the size of intex 10’x30” easy set pool.

Not trying to give a bad review but… No way to connect a skimmer hose to it without having to buy additional pieces. Over priced for what it is. If you are looking to spend twice as much for something that does nothing special than by all means do so. I returned mine and went with the intake that came with my kit. Able to screw a hose adapter on it and use it for my skimmer and connect a vacuum to it.

Love this strainer kit. It worked perfect on my stock tank pool. Created perfect water tight seal. No caulking or silicone needed
