Electric - 6 qt. - Old Fashioned Ice Cream Maker w/Motor

This product is super well built and does a great job of delivering the desired result - great ice cream.The only minor issue is that mounting the motor can be difficult. Aligning the motor to the drive shaft and getting it into the mounts on the bucket could be an easier process. Wish I knew a clear procedure but I just keep moving the motor around until things fall into place. Kids loved assisting with ice and salt and watching the ice cream being made through the clear top. Very expensive vs. competitors which caused me to be reluctant to purchase. Took a lot heat from my sweetie but very happy with the purchase as it is built to last and does a great job. Motor makes noise but all ice cream makers with motors make noise.

Yes these are expensive, but it is the best one we’ve ever had!! We have bought three other ice cream makers and they all were put in the trash for one reason or another. This one is all stainless steel and the bucket is fiberglass, so no rust anywhere. Ours is the six quart and everyone who has seen it in use, says it is the fastest one they have ever seen. Just go ahead and spend the money, you won’t regret it!!

Excepting the cord insulation, scraper blades, and the (double layered) bucket, I spotted no plastic parts in this machine. The gears are steel, not aluminum, as is the motor housing and mounting hardware.It produced very good ice cream as quickly as one would expect, although it is LOUD. I don't mind - this is typical of motorized ice cream makers - but if you hate noise you should probably stick with a hand crank model.It's obvious that Immergood takes their engineering seriously, though, and I'm only disappointed they don't make products aside from ice cream makers, since I would definitely consider buying them.

Makes the best ice cream I’ve ever tasted. A little pricey and very loud while churning. When the motor stops it begins to smoke out of the top. This is somewhat concerning.

The motor is difficult to place and remove. A good product, but cost far too much.

False advertising!! Ice cream maker is listed as made in USA on seller site. Box when arrived also typed made in USA. We made ice cream works as well as any other ice cream maker. But we paid 455.00. Under motor it listed made in CHINA..... I could have went anywhere and got a cheap one made in CHINA ..... false Advertising......

This is THE BEST ice cream maker EVER. Kudos to you! We love it and it is worth every penny it cost. We've had many ice cream makers and this is the tops.
