Wish this manual had come out years ago. It is a gem.
I am a long time reader and fan of the author. When I received my issues of Roundel, the BMW Car Club of America publication, I would read the author’s and Jenny Morgan’s columns first. Unfortunately both Rob and Jenny were purged from the magazine by new editor Satch Carlsson. This was a move away from old time BMW enthusiasts who actually worked on their own BMW cars, towards the upscale market BMW corporate wanted to attract - folks who bought BMWs for the snob appeal and likely never even attempted to open their own hoods. For we old-time “hack mechanics” this new book is like a breath of fresh air. If you own and work on an older BMW, Porsche, or Mercedes, you need this book in your collection. And if you are just starting out learning about electricity and electrical devices related to automobiles, this book is an ideal way to learn. It is filled with color illustrations, and cogent explanations, plus a smattering of humorous anecdotes.

Great book on auto electricity
Lot of great information in the book, some of it was just basic review but still it never hurts to go through it again. Lotta good tips on electricity using volt meters and such. If you don’t know and understand electricity you’re not gonna be able to work on the newer vehicles, unless you just want to change tires....
