Writes really well, looks and feels like quality
This pen, with the black and gold pattern and a gold nib, looks much more high end than the price point would suggest. So amazing value for the money. I used with platinum carbon ink, and find it juicy without flooding, it is definitely a medium/broad nib equivalent, no nib size option is offered here. But the nib is so so smooth, and writes without drying out and just glides over all kinds of paper, from cheap copy paper, to smoother notebook paper like Moleskine, Rhodia, and kokuyo's campus notebooks. It even worked well on cheap absorbent index cards, though it feathers there. The box it came in is giant, beautifully lined and so on. A bit overkill, but makes it giftable for sure. The black and gold is definitely showy. The Pilot Prera pens are at the same price point, and I do like how the medium Calligraphy nib option on those makes my handwriting look better. Those look like plastic, and are light like plastic. These on the other hand are fairly hefty.

Unexpectedly fine fountain pen at an amazing price
I collect fountain pens. Browsing Amazon for ink cartridges, I came across this item, and found very favorable feedback. Price was ridiculously low, so I could not resist buying one. After all, can always return to Amazon. What I found truly surprised me, particularly for a 100% Chinese product, where the objective is often to produce the cheapest product possible to attract buyers. In this case, the pen was made with high quality material, probably brass with lacquer finish and gold plated accents. Impressive attention to detail. Most importantly, the pen exhibits great ink flow control, and the nib is such a smooth writer, it even equals or exceeds the Parker 51 pens I own, with the Parker 51s having a reputation for being expensive, smooth writing pens made years ago. Pens in my collection include US, German, and Italian pens costing up to $600, yet after this purchase, I find myself using this pen daily. The nib is medium width, and being steel, fairly stiff. If you want a pen that will write with lots of expression with a soft flexible 18K nib, then cough up the cash for a Mont Blanc :-)) The pen can use standard ink cartridges, but I use the converter with it and use various color inks from bottles of artisan bottled inks. Ink flow has been an issue with even well made expensive pens. I am bothered with pens that dump a generous amount of ink on paper. Takes forever to dry, on cheaper paper feathers out as it gets absorbed, and empties out the reservoir fairly quickly. That is what I appreciate about the Parker 51 pens. Smooth writing, and almost dry writing. Write with this pen, then run your finger immediately over the words and no ink smearing. For users who prefer a fine point, or a very flexible nib, this pen may not be for you. Unlike ball point pens, fountain pens are similar to perfume; a very personal item that an individual either finds satisfying or not.

Good Heft - Smooth Writing
I just purchased the Picasso 902 Gentlemen fountain pen in Carnelian, and I was so pleasantly surprised by the beauty, finishes and weight of this pen. The writing is smooth and flowing, and the heft of the pen is comfortable to write with all day. Very classy and attractive, and even better in person than shown in the photographs. I also purchased the Picasso ink in blue-black (definitely on the bluer side of black) and it flows well if not very saturated. Overall, an amazing pen for the price. I compared it to my favorite Montblanc and Shaeffer fountain pens, and the only significant difference is the nib writes a more bold (fat) line, and I would prefer a finer point.

Beautiful Pen with Meh Quality
I bought three pens from Amazon on a whim. I didn’t know what to expect since I’ve some really nice pens including MontBlanc and LAMY. This Picasso 902 pen is really beautiful but the quality of the mechanism is not as good as the better pens I’ve which reflects in the price. For the price, it’s a good pen. I also ordered the Scriveiner Silver Chrome and a JinHao Dragon Phoenix, and to my surprise the Scriveiner has the same profile as this Picasso pen. As a matter of fact, the barrels and caps are interchangeable between the two as seen on the pictures! Picasso pen doesn’t have the screw-in converter as Scriveiner has, and the converter that came with it is a bit flimsy. I accidentally unscrewed the bottom part and the mechanism fell apart. I wish they provided a better quality converter, but the aesthetics make up for all the shortcomings. It’s worth the price tag, and I would buy it again, but the Scriveiner with the German Schmidt nib writes a tiny bit better. Last pictures show how they write. I still prefer how LAMY Lx glides on paper over all of these, but these are not bad pens either. Packaging is very nice too if you want to gift it. Thanks for reading and YMMV.

Impressive, most impressive
I have to start adding the following disclaimer: I am not, in any way, shape or form, an expert in handwriting, calligraphy, penmanship, or fountain pens. All that being said, this is the first time as an adult I write with a fountain pen, and there is a difference. This product feels really comfortable in my hands. Its weight, with the full ink cartridge, is just right.Writing with it, in comparison with ball pens, feels way smoother, like if the pen would glide to the page. I have never wrote with something like this before. After a few strokes, my cursive letters, usually not the prettiest sight, started to look better. To be fair, I'm using Waterman ink, which may also have to do with this experience. (Again, not an expert, there may be better and worse inks out there that provide a different experience).Design wise, it is a beautiful product. Even when it is not the most expensive, by far, it looks elegant. Also, the internal pump cartridge is so easy to use that even an all-thumbs guy like me could use it right away without making a mess with the ink.In conclusion, for its price, this is a steal, and I expect to derive years of satisfaction with it from my new writing fondness.

Hermosa…
La pluma se siente bien, tiene un diseño excelente y se desliza suavemente por el papel. El único detalle, es que sería mejor que la tapa fuera de cierre de rosca, en lugar de presión, pero eso no desmerece el diseño.
