I bought this because my dog has separation anxiety. So I take him to the stores with me. He is a pekingese and weighs around 18 to 20 lbs. He's a beefcake lol. But I'm writing this so if you have a question about if your dog would fit in this if it's not a " toy size". I think he fits in good because his leg length is small. The wide adjustable strap will create the right fit for most people. It also helps distribute the weight and make it more comfortable. Perfect carrier for running errands around town. My toy poodle loves it! She can see everything around her perfectly. It doesn’t have a hard bottom which would maybe create more stability but the bag fits closer to the carriers body without it. Nice town bag, if I was going to hike long distances, I would probably choose a backpack but this is a perfect city carrier.

Using this to carry my 7lb Pomeranian on our walks when he can't keep up with the bigger dogs. He seems to like being held and can still look around and see the sights. He's small so it's not heavy on my neck. Works well for us.

I love it for my toy poodle (5lbs),he's a support dog. He loves setting in it. The only thing I wish is the pocket on the handle was bigger,deeper to hold my Goggle Pixel 6. It sticks out, afraid it will fall out. But I love the bag and the price.

I haven't used it yet, but I didn't receive the safety latch hook. Bummer

My little Morkie loves to snuggle down in when I take her with me. Most people don’t even know she is in there !

My little dog seemed comfortable and didn't try to avoid the sling. Just sat and happily took it all in. We used it to allow access for my dog where pets are restricted.
