McCurnin's Clinical Textbook for Veterinary Technicians

I bought this textbook and workbook to study independently for the VTNE. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. The textbook is comprehensive and full of great information. However, the workbook does not come with answers to the questions and puzzles. You must register on the Evolve website, and you must be a student or instructor to gain access to the workbook answers and extra website materials. Students are only given access to answers for the odd numbered workbook questions, and I have found several mistakes in the answers.

I got this book for my daughter who wants to be a Vet in the future. It look like it comtains alot of good information she can learn.

This book was required for most of my classes in the vet tech program I was in. It has a ton of useful information, tables, charts, vocab, etc. Would definitely recommend it for anyone in a tech program...I sold a number of my books either to students in the class behind me or back to Amazon, but this is one I will keep forever.

This book has a little bit of everything you need to understand the multifaceted world of veterinary medicine (from a tech's perspective). While it doesn't good too in-depth into any one topic, it is a great beginner's guide or refresher for the established tech. This is a major help when studying for the VTNE.

Excellent book for prepping for the VTNE. There are a few weird things in restraint and some behavior topics are confusing, but I think those are fixed in the 8th edition. Skip this book and get the 8th edition if you're planning to take the VTNE in the next 2 years or so.

One of the best textbooks that I have read. The information is very detailed and current. It is not difficult to read, but not too simplified either. The workbook, however, is a waste of money. The answers are hard to find, and a lot of the questions are elementary. Save yourself money and buy this book used, without the workbook.

brilliant book-well-suited for my vet nurse training!...I couldnt afford the newest version but got the previous edition at an excellent price, so I am chuffed!!:)

This helped me greatly throughout my college years very very useful for my assignments and it is very well illustrated and covers a broad range of topics A+++++

Great textbook with some awesome information. Well organized but huge! Still, a recommended purchase for veterinary tech students. This is a great book to pull out and flip through at leisure too.

An essential addition to any vet tech's book collection. Packed with info on a huge variety of topics.
