Bando USA 6PK2125 OEM Quality Serpentine Belt

The old serpentine belt of my 2006 chrysler town and country was very noisy and I figured it was time to be replaced. I chose Bando because it has a very good reputation on the online forums (and it turns out to have a fair price). So far it's been working great, no more squeaks coming from the serpentine belt. It's always a good idea to change the belt tensioner and the idler with the belt itself, so I also replaced them and so far everything is working fine. BE CAREFUL not to buy a tensioner pulley (smaller) thinking it is the idler (bigger), their sizes are different and you should NOT install the tensioner pulley as the idler.

I replaced this belt on a 2013 Subaru outback with the 2.5 liter engine. I noticed the 2013 model has a slightly different layout to models that are a year or 2 older a 2011 model for example has one idler pulley while the 2013 has 2. So definitely something to be aware of so you get the correct part. From my understanding and some research I've done this is the OEM supplier for the 2013 Subaru outback. It feels well made and was the perfect fit. It doesn't make any noise whatsoever but I also did replace the idler pulleys and tensioner on the car so all of those components are new.

I used this on a zero turn lawnmower as a replacement for my drive belt (not the pulley belt). The drive belt is more or less flat as opposed to being V shaped. Had difficulties finding the exact belt replacement, so opted for the serpentine belt. The width was too wide so just trimmed to my desired width and seems to be working fine. I know this is outside the box on lawnmower repair but seems to be the way I think sometimes.

Liked everything about the O.E.M. matching size and apparent quality. No issues for installation that were related to the product itself; just human error in putting it in upside down! Took about 5-10 minutes to put it in the correct way. I made sure to find an on-line diagram showing just how the belt was to be routed. Note that on some cars, you must have the correct tool to adjust the belt tensioner pulley, via the bolt on the front of said pulley, to make this work. Having two people also works better than one. The tension can be quite difficult to overcome when trying to loosen the belt with one arm and remove it with the other. I actually broke my old Harbor Freight socket extension bar when I tried to perform just such a maneuver, and wound up using my stronger torque wrench in place of the extension bar. No matter what, even if it takes an hour, it is still better than the $180+ that a shop will charge you.
