Brilliant bin and customer service
I’ve had this bin for a little over a year with no issues till just over a week ago when the lid stopped working. Thankfully it has a two year guarantee so I contacted the company on Monday and received a replacement bin lid by the Thursday!Very happy.

Did not work
After spending a lot of money on D batteries (large barrel batteries) to get it to work, it gave up the ghost one day after use! It just made a sort of squeaking noise and didn't respond most of the time. The lid was rather flimsy and made a loud clunk noise when it did decide to open and close. We thought if we spent good money on a sensor waste bin, we would get good quality. Sadly not. Very disappointing. We have returned it.

Too sensitive
I love the size of this bin. Good volume for both recycling and waste which many do not have, easy to put things in without touching bin. Problem is it opens when you walk past which is irritating and wastes batteries, talking if batteries it takes the massive D sized not easy to locate in shops.
