It's OK
This worked amazing for the coat of my brother's poor, neglected malamute. He never gets brushed unless they take him to a groomer. Within an hour this got his coat looking svelte again. This didn't work so well on my Klee Kai. He has a very fine undercoat and is brushed weekly. This didn't really work that well on the undercoat except for large clumps when he blows his coat. He also prefers the scratch of my other de-shedders.Who this is for: people who are afraid to groom their pets. (or afraid other de-shedders somehow will hurt them). People who generally do not have life skills. People who often neglect their animals.Who this is not for: People who know how to correctly use de-shedders. (Be honest; if you're reading this review that probably isn't you). People who regularly care for their animal's coat.

The rake really works without hurting the pups
The rake really pulls out undercoat on my German Shepherds, And it does so without hurting the pups. My previous pin brush got the job done, sort of, but hurt them so they tended to not like to be brushed. With this undercoat rake, my big male just stood there and let me get it all out. My goodness, I had no idea how much undercoat the other brush missed!! The handle is convenient to hold too. So very glad I got this.

Great Comb for rough coated dogs
This comb is well made and the bladsxare sharp. This is a must for any long haired dog. For big dogs with long coated buy the com. With less blades which has a wider distance between the blades. For shorter coats buy the comb with more blades and a smaller distance between blades. For my rough coated collie and rough coated St Bernard I use the comb with less blades. I would not be able to get the other combs though their coats. All the combs have their own use on specific dogs. I will be buying more of these combs because they are top notch.

Just what I was looking for and worked even better than I expected
This was perfect for my needs. I have a black lab, and every spring by hardwood floors turn black and gray from the dustbunnies caused by his coarse hair shedding. Plus he gets this gray aura as his undercoat starts to shed. It takes forever. But this rake was gentle, he LOVED it, and I got literally 2 handfulls of loose fur off of him in less than a few minutes. You could really tell the difference the next time I gave him a bath - not as much fur in the tub, his shampoo lathered better, and his shiny coat was better than usual.

Amazing - Purchased for my Tibetan Mastiffs--works on angora cat, too!
Brush removes so much of their hair. Still have to be careful around coarser areas like tail and the fluff on their back legs. My biggest surprise was that it worked on our angora haired feline. She mats ups so badly for fuzzy and oily type hair that she rarely mat free. This brush changed everything since it gets out the hair better than any of the combs or wired brushes. I don't know how it does it, but for the first time in years she is mat free. Thanks!

The Pet Undercoat Rake worked great on our Border Collie
The Pet Undercoat Rake worked great on our Border Collie. She loved it, and it helped her shed lots of her winter coat. I'm sure she feels much lighter, and she looks slimmer now, too! I do think it was like a massage for her. She relaxed and enjoyed every minute.

Great for my husky who hates normal brushes
I have a Siberian husky who sheds really bad for a couple weeks twice a year. He hates normal dog brushes and it have to force him to stand still while I brush him. That wasn't the case with this brush. He really enjoyed it and sat perfectly still for me. It's really helped with the shedding. I also have another dog who's a mixed breed and she also absolutely adores being brushed by this, even though she doesn't really shed.
