So far so good
I've just received today, but so far it's ok for the price and it seems quite good quality. We'll see. Hope my comment and mainly the photos help to get a better idea!Update: making a noise after a few days and almost not used but still working...

Very simple to unfold from the box and use immediately.
Impressive product design that is easy to assemble. Clever design and clear instructions. This is regularly used each day and takes up very little floor space, as well as being safe for users.

An in-between piece of kit
This stepper is ok but when you're used to steppers at the gym, this feels very short of the mark. I am well versed in the usage of steppers in the gym, from the simple up/downs like this to the moire advance stairclimbers, the ones like escalators in reverse. I like to step, the rythimical motion calms my mind.I don't achieve that from this stepper. It's doesn't quite have the same smooth action and actually makes a great deal of noise. Most of the noise comes from the steps knocking on the foot bar at the bottom. I have stopped some of the noise but using some of the foam it was packed with but it's a workaround. It's actually designed to do this, the footbar is actually the stop mechansim for the footpads so poor design. You can see what I have done in the photo. There is no resisitance to change on this, so it's just one level. My other half is less fit than me and finds it hard work, and I am more fit and don't find it hard enough! The electronics is next to useless and does not count anything. No matter what I do with it, it just sits there and seems to count numbers occasionally.I bought this model because it has something to hold on to. This is an ok feature, but it's not very strong. My other half is blind and needs to feel their way on to the stepper. Every time they do this, I am concerned they are going to snap the handhold off.So it's ok, but really nothing special.

Very good buy
I've been using this stepper for a few weeks now and very happy with it. It takes seconds to assemble and is very sturdy, It's also very compact so doesn't take up much room in my study. It can get slightly loud when in use, but a bit of WD40 now and again sorts the squeaking.

Overall very good
I bought this for my home gym, easy to assemble and easy to use and together with my other equipment is overall good. That said I strongly suggest you put some anti slip take on the foot rests and I also put some rubber pads under the stoppers. The handles are very helpful and I am glad I bought this

Great bargain
It's not stiff so easy to "walk" in front of TV, you don't have to use the handle but reassuring it's there for holding if you want or steady yourself if needed but you can easily walk without it, plates are a good size. The timer / pedometer is on a moveable part so no wires needed. Doesn't take up to much room and not very heavy. Highly recommended

I've nothing good to say about it
This is rubbish and it's going back. I was aware that it only had a single resisitance level, but I wasn't aware that the level was zero. So, I have to pelt it for about ten minutes to reach the point where I can start getting some kind of benefit out of it. Whereas if it has some level of resisitance, then I could likely reach this point in a fraction of the time. And while I applaud the fact that its not squeaky, every step is a clunk, clunk, clunk, even with my Bose noise cancelling headphones on. I should point out that I have been a regular hillwalker since 1996, so the lack of resisitance is specifically frustrating to me. I accept that others may be happy with zero resisitance. So, it's back to Plan B, to get a step-up box.
