I purchased this leash for my three-year-old Dachshund that weighs 18 pounds. I love to go on long walks with him and I sometimes let him go off leash when we are in more rural areas as he behaves very well. I was looking for a leash that was easy to slip on and off for this reason. My dog also slips out of his collar every now and then so I thought this would be a perfect fit for my needs. When used correctly, slip leads do not choke the dog and make handling dogs that may be not as great on a leash or are in training to walk on a leash nicely a lot easier. I would say this product is great for any dog owner who enjoys walking with their dog, whether they are fully leash trained or not. I see that it would be a great benefit to someone who wants more control of their dog, whether they are strong or big or both as the pressure the lead puts on when they pull is very effective, even with my small dog. I have great control using this leash and I would be very comfortable walking a large, strong dog with it. The smoothness of the lead is also a great attribute. I do not think I would get a rope burn if a large dog were to pull hard on it. Another great use of this leash would be for a rescue, as it is easy to slip leads on and off between dogs. The lead is a nice thick material that is very soft and smooth. It is tri-colored and I think the colors are so bright and fun and I see that the lead comes in other colors as well, even with different brands! The leather part that stops the lead from slipping too far back and is on the ends of both sides of the leash is very durable and has a great design to it. The whole leash itself is very durable and I think it will last me a long time. The ring that slips on the lead is a great size and it slips very easily which is great. The leash is also a great length, at 6 feet; I have no problem walking my Dachshund with it. I had a great experience with this company as it shipped very fast and I couldn’t be more pleased with this product.

The media could not be loaded.  Material is soft but durable, I use it on our labs. Strong, nice color and helps me make the corrections easily when the dogs pull though it slips a little bit to their necks and I have to fix it to make the corrections…maybe because of my pups hair???

Very well made slip lead. I haven't been able to use it very much as I bought the size. So, before you buy know what inch around you need....or at least in my experience.

This is great product, it is sturdy - I have an out of control 82lb hound cross. This leash used properly works on pressure points, if the toggle is used correctly, the dog cannot slip out of the leash. It gives direct contact from your dog to you. Simple, and very effective, and it hasn't frayed like other leashes, so it slides as it is supposed to.

At the moment wish I had ordered the 4 foot. It works well, he likes it. He can even walk himself. 11 week old golden doodle. I do wish there was an adjustable stopper to prevent tightening to much.

I compared this one to a couple other brands while working in a kennel, the leather stopper on this one has held up the best.

I haven’t even used it yet and it is amazing, the slider is great and stays in place great, I was expecting it to be cheap and loose but it is tight and because the rough side of the leather is facing the rope it kinda sticks so it, I love the thinner one either the 6 ft length, I am going to use it as a head halter for my service dog in training, I find that it is better than a gentle leader because it puts less pressure on the nose and it’s lighter since it only has the one ring instead of a ring and a clip, I also use it for my chihuahua who resource guards so I can safely pull him away from whatever he has without getting bit, I love how soft it is, I bought this brand because it was highly suggested by a dog training company and I can see why, the color is so bright and vibrant and it’s just absolutely gorgeous

I love this leash! I originally bought the 1/2'' but it was just too much leash for my pup (40# now, expect her to be 65# full grown) so I bought a 3/8" leash and it is perfect. It is easy to use and quickly slip on when I need to leash her, and quickly slips off when I don't. I live in an area where she can be off leash most of the time but I like to have it ready when I need it.The colors are beautiful, it is very well made and easy to use, and is very reasonably priced.

Purchased and used for a month. Love that it doesn't have stretch but is already fraying :( I use only to walk my dog (she doesn't chew or anything) but the handle is already going, not great for the price.

I've been using this leash almost daily for a year, and it's still in excellent shape. Great buy for the price.

Always liked the thickness and comfort when using the leash but after getting the 2nd (3/8 width 5” and 6” long) product with loose leather tab- frustration creeped in. It’s for a small puppy (10lbs) that pulls and having rubber band won’t even hold its place. Before returning the 2nd time, I reached out to CS and they’ve replaced it with thankfully a way better product! Now, I’m happy I reached out and gotten the quality I expected.
