I have been using for only a couple of days--they do wash well and they appear to be fairly soft to use. Certainly better than paper napkins.

When I originally purchased these napkins on May 31, I initially gave them five stars. I was swayed by the packaging, That was a big mistake. We have Egyptian cotton bedding, shirts and socks. All are of fine quality, comfortable and very soft. These napkins are none of the above, They are rough to the touch, do not fold very well and stain easily. What part of Egypt are they from? Certainly, none that I am familiar with. We hoped they would soften wilh washing, they did not. The napkins are probably the worst things we have ever purchased through Amazon, About the only thing they are good for at this point is possibly garage rags. If I could give a 0, I would.
