Very bright & legal. Running lights are very bright, I actually thought the brake lights were being applied at the time. They weren’t. So you can definitely tell the difference between the Running lights/ Brake lights. I recommend a locking pin, to deter any other Jeep fans that want to rip it off, as it is very easy to un-plug the four prong & take it out of your female receiver hitch, whether it be 2” or 1 1/4” female receiver. Package comes with everything you need. FYI, I would keep the fittings that you do not need (such as if you have the 2” receiver, Keep the fittings for the 1 1/4” receiver in case you switch vehicles or want to re-sell down the line.) All in all, very quality product, will update review if any problems occur (most common is the LED COBB lights start to burn out. Haven’t heard of that happening on this product, but will update if any issues/ problems occur). See attached photos for a more detailed custom look. FYI: Make sure you already have a 4 prong electrical connector, for easy plug & play, for that is how this is designed. Obviously have to dismount while towing, to free up your female hitch receiver for you male ball hitch.

The installation isn't difficult but it took a couple tries for me to get it right because of the optional placement of the holes on the part that slides into the receiver tube. Also, I initially tried running the wiring harness out the back through the center of the tube that slides into the receiver tube, to make the wiring harness less visible. The wiring harness was about 2" too short using that route. I took it apart and there is a way to run the cord out to the side before attaching the tube to the back of the light. Problem solved. This does not come with a hitch pin so just keep that in mind.

The directions were completely incomplete. Wasn't too hard to figure out but would have saved me time if it actually had information. Screws and locations for tightening them were frustrating. Foam supports for inserts...thought they were product packaging because they weren't even noted in the installation. It was during the dry fit that I noted there was too much play inside the receiver hitch and realized the 'foam packing' was to used for that. Company should hire someone to actually write up proper installation guide.

I would have hoped this product would have lasted longer than four months, but the LED's in the first e of Jeep have gone out. Just from normal wear and tear, this hitch cover is on our Grand Cherokee which is not an off road vehicle. Can't seem to find any warranty information so guess I'm out of luck and $34.85.

All plastic, made in china. Description didn't specify that it flashes on turn signal. Does brake and running, no reverse.

Outlet on my Jeep is working fine. Power on all signals. Tested it with a 12v battery and my multimeter. All contacts are dead to the bulb. You get what you pay for!

It arrived without the installation hardware, the package said that it was included, so that was a few extra dollars. After one month of working well, and it does look VERY nice, some of the LED lights stopped working. For the price this should have lasted longer. I'm very disappointed, I bought this as a gift for my dad as a gift now he says "it looks like it has a front tooth missing". Wouldn't recommend this, based on its lack of durability.

Works fine and easy to install. Only concern are the exposed wires at the plug fitting. Why not have them protected? I’ve added some electrical tape to help protect them.
