Pricey but essential kit for my rack. There's a knack to getting a good result, make a sure you use sharp pliers, make a quick clean cut. On the straight plugs push wire in to embed center prong, apply moderate forward force and screw in to moderate tightness, till you can feel it penetrate the outer jacket, too tight and it will crush the center winding. For the angled plugs push wire in to embed center prong, bend wire over the notch to ~60degree angle while maintaining moderate forward pressure, and screw the cap on so it splices into the edge at a 45-60degree angle, then do up cap reasonably tight. Get a cable tester and check each one as you make it. I find if a cable goes faulty it's usually because I didn't get a good initial result.

Good quality, except for one missing set screw
I bought these connectors and a spool of 154 gauge cable for a friend who is a guitar player and frequently complains about cables that break. It appears that this system works great. Time will tell, but I think he’ll be happy with it.The only negative thing about my order is that one connector was missing the set screw. That is unfortunate because it makes the connector worthless. If it weren’t for that oversight, I would have given 5 stars.

Dependable, Great Sounding Pedal Board Patches
I use George L's cables for my entire rig, minus the cable from guitar to pedal board. I use Mogami for that... better flexibility. I would prefer to use Evidence Audio on the board, but it's currently out of my budget.

good stuff
I bought a spool of .155 cable last year, and now needed more straight and right angle plugs to wire the additions to my pedal board. George L's is easy to use works great and even with my old ears which have been pummeled by loud music for decades, you can hear the difference. I made a 6ft cable for use at home and a/b'ed it with the 6ft Whirlwind cord I had been using -- the difference was amazing! Clarity and dynamics!

Very poor quality control
A quarter of the product was not included. Very expensive for not even the quantity advertised. Too busy to return. Very poor quality control.
