I was a little leery that this would hold up in the wind at the beach but it was perfect! We have had other beach umbrellas and have had to close them when the lightest wind started. This one ones easy to set up, and held up extremely well in the wind at the beach! So glad we purchased it. The added cup holder was just a plus. Put the shells I collected in them to dry, :)

We go to HHI every year and we finally purchased our own umbrella to use at the beach. It fits 2 small chairs under it. I’ll most likely buy another one for next year for more shade. It looks good and the quality is good.

I bought two of these to go to the beach and they both worked great and neither one was uprooted with heavy winds. The only think that I would say could be a little better is the handle that helps push and twist the poles into the ground. It is a little flimsy, but having it does give you leverage, you just shouldn't use the handles alone or I think they will bend off. The spiral at the base makes it easy to go in and secure it. The flimsy handles also make it easier to take out. Still a 5 and a great value.

Light and works well with my sand gopher. Both fit easily in the provided carry bag.

So far so good, have used the umbrella once so far but seems pretty sturdy.

1. There’s no thick strap (with Velcro) to wrap around the umbrella to hold it in place when it’s not open on the beach or when trying to get it back in it’s carrying bag.2. The strap on the outside of the carrying bag is thin and flimsy and I fear will tear off quickly if I use it to carry it around by putting it on my arm or shoulder.

Just came back from the beach after using this new umbrella. We had a very windy day at the beach and the umbrella stayed perfectly anchored. Love!
