I wish I'd thought of buying one of these years ago, would have saved on sprays, zappers and other fly deterring equipment. This is the sort of device you used to see in food shops all the time. The blue light attracts flies, a quick ZAP and they're dead. My dogs are frightened of flies after being stung by wasps in the garden - the famous dog hearing obviously doesn't distinguish between fly and wasp! This has a sturdy metal chain to hang it by and we have it on the front of a shelf unit opposite our back door, which has a screen. Flies that get in anywhere in the house are attracted to it, and sometimes it kills 10 or 12 in succession! It gets all the little mites and small moths as well. Brilliant device. Very easy to set up, very easy to empty.

It does it’s job. Quite loud when a fly gets zapped, yet less flys equals less noise. I had a less powerful one before which was ineffective. The Everpert is brilliant.

Good product. Kills flies. But when it catches the fly, it scares us because of the noise. We get startled. Not good idea to be close to it

This is loud!!! I don’t mind though as long as it works. I’ve tried everything to get rid of fruit flies in my kitchen, and this does seem to make a loud “zap” noise every so often… indicating that it is working. It was quite expensive though which is why I’ve only given it three stars so far, because for £40 I would have expected it to have killed a lot more by now. Someone else said it does not attract large house flies, and I would agree. It so far only seems to be attracting the fruit flies, but that’s what I wanted it for so that’s good for me. I would recommend.

This product was great for the first 2months now fly's won't get zapped they fly into trap but does not kill them this is the second one I have had as though it was the bulbs changed bulbs but still not killing fly's

good for the job but quite noisy

I was getting so irritated, leaving a door open in the hot weather, flies were coming in. Obviously no food could be left out. This zapper really did the trick. One or two flies ignored it but the vast majority succumbed to the blue light. What a crack it makes when zapping. Sounds like a whip going off. But a small price to pay. Should have got one sooner.
