Mandolin Armrest Rosewood wood with Golden color U clamp hardware

This armrest actually helps. It’s a good idea, as one reviewer said, to round off the edges with a knife, chisel or sandpaper. It installed easily. It’s not very long but was fine to protect my forearm from getting the nerves pinched, a problem I was having. I have a Kentucky A style mandolin and it fit well. The tone and volume improved.

I ordered one with gold colored metal and a rosewood finish however I got a silver metal one with black wood finish. Very disappointing. Then to make it worse it's too small to fit properly on my mandolin. I'm able to get about 2 or three threads on the female end and that's it. I was looking forward to having this accessory on my mandolin but it's really not that great and kinda cheap. BUT I do believe you get what you pay for and this product is only 15 dollars so I would say it is worth the price.

The price is better than any other for what it is. It looks good and it works well. Raises my forearm to a better position for picking. Relieves any discomfort from resting my arm on a sharp edge. Don’t pay 50 dollars for the same item. At 15 dollars it’s a steal.

Easy to install and no more sore arm!!!! looks nice too.

I recieved the ebony wood with silver brackets and it tips back when fitted on.Usable but moderate experience over all.

Its worth 15 bucks if you add a piece of dense foam under it to give it a usable height. I also cut a slight pitch into the foam.FYI- its 3 5/8 in. across and 5/8 high.
