Great vacuum!
Amazing vacuum and perfect for the workshop. Mega strong suction and blowing power useful to clear dust off of everything. Comes with a few useful attachments too. The hose doesn’t attach to my power tools without a bit of masking tape (easier to remove than duct tape!) but easy enough to attach. I’ve just ordered the adaptor for their mitre saw (direct from Evo) so assuming that’ll do the job for tools. DEWALT also do an adaptor which I think will fit and then work with most power tools but that involves cutting the hose which in turn means the attachments might not work as well. A little loathe to try this hence buying the Evolution specific adaptor. Regardless of this it’s brilliant. Oh and it also has a socket to plug your power tools into and turns on automatically when they start. I’m a newbie to all this woodworking stuff so maybe all the features are what you find in most vacs but really impressed with this for the price

Pretty good for what I paid
Just sanded all my stairs and banisters on my 3 storey town house, attached it to my black and decker mouse sander, which didn’t fit 100% but the suction was so great it stayed in place anyway. The suction was great, very little dust around the house after sanding, the power start option was great. It was light enough to carry while sanding or balance on the stairs etc.The only criticism I have is the hose isn’t very flexible and does feel a bit cheaply made. Other than that highly recommend.

Good, but really depends on what it's used for
Likes:Good wet & dry vacuum cleaner. Sufficiently powerful with compact rectangular footprint similar to an average size toolbox. Light, quality plastic and robust construction, it's durable and likely last for years. Using this around my workshop to pick up dry waste such as sawdust, masonry dust and swarf, it's extremely good. Very capable on water spillages too.Dislikes:• The plastic hose clip into the body needs some finger strength to release & remove.• I bought this to primarily clean soot and wood ash out of my Heta wood pellet stove... does that beautifully. But, removing soot from the inside of the hose and washable filter elements takes forever, and soot removal from the underside of the top section is difficult and also takes a long time because the plastic moulding is very complex. If flat it would be much easier & quicker.Whether I'm doing this vacuum a disservice I'm not sure, after all wood soot clings to everything as it's an extremely fine carbon powder. For this type of cleaning maybe a bag vacuum would be better?Overall, if you're intending to use this around your workshop or vacuuming out your car or garage etc, it's perfect. But, cleaning out fireplaces or wood pellet stoves, perhaps a bagged vacuum would be a better choice.

Great basic functional Vac for garage and rough jobs
Powerful suction and great for pairing with my power tools (Dewalt chop saw, makita router, etc). Works very very well. I really like the power passthrough function where the vac comes on when you start the power tool.I’ve also paired it with some old Dyson turbine brush heads to hoover up some artificial grass in the garden. Suction is powerful enough to get the turbine brush head working well so a nice bonus. The parts/accessories are a little flimsy but more than functional and acceptable at this price point.Delighed with this vac for garage/garden/car use.

Works well
I love Evolution tools. They bring affordability into my workshop. They work well for the task they are designed for. They are not the same quality as Festool but they are not sold at Festool prices. In my opinion, they do not claim to be the best at anything. For me the alternatives to this machine are beween £150.00 for a wet and dry Henry or £750.00 for the Festool de. At the time I bought this (July 16th 2024 it was £74.00. I also opted for the additional £12.00 accidental damage cover. (madness not to for 3 years of peace of mind) The blower is very powerful and is the main reason I got it. Very happy

Great purchase for the DIY'er
This has been a lifesaver whilst renovating. Having the replaceable filters (although quite expensive) means you don't have to worry about knackering the house vacuum cleaner. The automatic power on function is awesome. Suction is also really good for general DIY tasks. When I use it with the Mirka sander I get virtually no dust. The only annoying thing is that I've yet to find a single tool where the nozzle fits. Even Evolutions own power tools! Luckily I was able to 3d print my own adapters. Some wheels on the base would also be handy because the hose is quite short so I do find myself dragging it around. But this still wouldn't put me off - its a great vacuum for the price.

Great for the workshop
This thing will suck up everything, a very powerful and lightweight vacuum. It’s great for the workshop and doesn’t clog up as easily as my old vac did. The blower function is the main reason I bought it for blowing down my lathe and milling machines which it does with ease. Metal cuttings and sawdust are no problem for this unit. A great addition to my work shop.

Awesome
This is honestly the best bit of kit ive purchased in a while used briefly as a normal hoover nothings comes close and used it on my von haus chop saw for dust supression and reduced saw dust by 85% easy.

Dann funktioniert's sehr gut.
