LOVE IT! LOVE! LOVE IT!
A handsome Domestic Shorthair boy at the SPCA adopted us last November. He was underweight and a little worse for wear from being on the streets and then in the shelter...but now he's at his full weight and a healthy, happy cat. He's an indoor kitty and to try to keep his weight under control, we've been searching for the perfect cat teaser/exerciser. Either he's tore up the toys (especially toys with feathers) or he has just not been interested in anything we've presented him with until now...OMG! This thing is genius! Who knew? Basically this is a fishing pole converted into this wonderful dangler kitty toy! Our boy was at full attention as soon as I started putting the "fishing-pole-like" wand together. As soon as I got out the attachable toys, it was all over. Our big kitty loves it! I've never seen him jump so high, run so fast and be so engaged. The Aigou Cat Wand is extremely well made and tough enough to handle the pull of a 15+ lb. tom cat. It's very long and the attachable toys are durable as well. Not the foo-foo, fluffy fluttery feathery type that our kitty demolishes in a matter of minutes, then stares at us with feathers sticking out of his mouth as if to say, "Really? This is the best you can do?" Not so with these squiggly-worm-like toys. They are perfect for a big cat who really likes to stalk then attack, sinking his teeth and claws in. They hold up to the fiercest kitty wallop like none other!Really can't say enough good things about this cat wand and the attachable toys that come along with it. Will definitely be purchasing a couple more in the future!

Love the cat pole, not so much the furry worms.
Well, at the beginning, say about a week the cats loved this toy and played with it constantly, but soon grew bored of it. I really like the pole, it's built sturdy and is quite long compared to ones I've purchased from pet stores. The fluffy worm things however aren't extremely durable. My cats basically played with only the green one during the first week and by the end of the week nearly a third of the green fur came off. I still have the 4 other colors but my cats don't seem interested in the worms any longer. Instead, I just purchased a bundle of colorful yarn from Daiso for $1.50, made a ball out of the yarn, and attached it to the pole and they've been playing with it everyday since, which has been about 2 months now.

Our kitten loves it!
I wasn't sure how much my kitten would like this toy. His favorite thing to attack is our hands!! However, this is one of his few toys that he plays with on a regular basis and that has lasted. We've had this for two months now and are still using the first attachment. We find a few pieces every now and then, but somehow it is still very much intact. However, the line did snap at one point. It is easy to tie on and our kitten has been unable to snap it since. A lot of cat toys try to get the cat to play on their own, but this one is nice because it really gives you an opportunity to play with your cat. It also provides some exercise for them. Sometimes we wedge it into various places so he can continue to play with it after we're tired of it. :)

Kitty Nirvana
Bought this a month ago for our newly adopted cat. He was very shy at first, and this toy helped with that.It is a light metal rod that comes in two pieces. You slide one into the other, and attach a dangler. Foam handle is in no way ergonomic, but it is pretty comfortable. On the plus side, it is very light and has a great reach. The cat loves how the dangler flies. The bell gets his attention, even from a sound sleep four rooms away, so be wary of the bell. Our cat will drag the dangler around begging to play. He LOVES to play with this, and usually for longer than anyone has the time for. If you are on the fence, don't hesitate, your cat will probably love this

Wand won't stay extended and fishing line is dangerous
The wand kept collapsing on itself because there was no tension or locking mechanism to keep it extended. I tried everything to make it stay, thinking that maybe it would twist into place, but no. I could glue it but would then lose the collapsible feature of it. Also, fishing line is used to attach the toy to the wand. This can be very DANGEROUS if left out for the cat unsupervised. I did like the toy "worm", however, and received two of them (one orange, one purple) so that was a nice surprise. And the cat seemed to like them as well, for a little while anyways, but that's pretty normal for her.

Great toy. Our cats love it! - update - it's been a couple of months, and they still love it love it love it!
We have two giant housecats that need a lot of exercise. They absolutely adore playing with this toy. They hear us open the closet door where it is stored, and they come running from all parts of the house. They completely exhaust themselves leaping and jumping and running after it. Definitely a hit.A couple of months have passed since we got this toy, and the cats still love it. They seriously watch where we put it after playing (whichever closet is closest) and will dash for that closet when anyone approaches it in hopes of playing. Even a seriously sleeping cat will leap up and run when they hear the jingle. This is the one toy that they both can't wait to play with.

Would buy again
My cat and I are really enjoying playing with this cat wand. The 2 pieces go together nicely and do not come apart during use.. The foam handle makes it comfortable to grip with my arthritic hand. The wand has a tip and swivels like a fishing pole and the string is nylon like fishing line so it's strong. My cat has yet to chew through or break the line unlike on other wands I've had. I do wish it were a few inches longer and that it was a bit more flexible. My only complaint is that the wire safety pin-like clip at the end of the line to which you connect the toys does not stay closed and the toys come off during kitty play. I've had to put a piece of tape on it to prevent the toy from flying off. However, I would still buy this item again, if this one wears out. It is a good kitty toy at a good price.
