Bombardiers:: A Novel of Business

The book, perhaps like many others on investment banking, is hilariously funny.I have read this book at least once every 2 years for the past 6 years. The first time I read it was before my internship in an investment bank, and although I thoroughly enjoyed it, I thought it was probably exagerrated a lot. But I soon realised that it was not very far from the truth. I have been working in an investment bank for many years now, and this book just gets more real and hilarious every time I read it. If you are a banker, you'll surely love this book - unless you take your job too seriously to enjoy some intelligent and extremely witty humour on it! As an outsider, whether you are interested in banking or not, the book is extremely funny. I was in splits reading the book. The pace is also good - its difficult to keep the book down.I generally enjoy humour (love PG Wodehouse) but I especially enjoy humour with intelligent wit. I dare say it, but I enjoyed this book perhaps only a little less than I enjoyed Catch 22 or The Animal Farm! Perhaps it was because I was able to relate to so many parts of the book. I have read many books on bankers, this one especially focuses on life on the Markets side, unlike most others, so is a little different from all the satire out there.I wish Po had written more such books instead of getting all serious with "What Should I do with my Life". Anyways, Bombardiers is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Bronson grabs you like Joseph Heller in Catch 22 and doesn't let go. You want to make a million dollars in the stock market? Read this first, and give yourself a sanity check. Great sense of humor and character.

I thought it was awkwardly written, I could not get through it and I usually love books about finance.I found no suspense or intrigue
